I don't understand why people complain that you bought 2 iPads to evaluate which one you'll keep, it's not illegal, Apple will never lose its profits because you return the iPad that you didn't like, they will sell it again reconditioned without losses. By the way, it is the most useful video I saw about the iPad m4.

I ordered the nano texture and returned it the day it arrived. Now working on the normal glass 13” iPad Pro and very glad I changed my mind 👍
Ohh - what did you not like about the nano texture? Was it the feel or because the colors are not as bright?
Well, you pay big dollar for the best screen and then you let them put a filter in front of it. They should give extra money for ruining the screen 😂 Besides that I hate the very visible border, the fact that the text is a bit blurred, the colors a little bit less bright and I knew that if I kept the nano display I would hate myself for it. So yeah, it went back right away. I almost never use my iPad Pro outside, so I dont really need the anti reflection screen. For all those reasons, that’s why.
Haha fair enough! You definitely don’t want to keep an expensive device and hate it 😇 But you bring up a good point: the bezel. I don’t like how it is a bit stickier than the rest of the screen and when you get to it with your wrist when writing it can interrupt your flow. The visual difference didn’t bother me too much though.
By the way, what app are you using for caligraphy letter training?
That’s the Zinnia app - it’s one of the first apps to support barrel roll 😄
I have tried both screens in the store. While I loved drawing on the Nano texture it isn’t worth the extra cost to me. The risk of scratching it easier and only being able to use Apple’s cloth for cleaning turn me towards the regular screen. I wish the Magic Keyboard had side protection for the iPad. For that reason alone I go for another option.
Yes I’m worried about the Nano Texture screen scratching more easily - especially after watching the JerryRigEverything video 🙈

I was thinking about buying a 1 TB version with a nano texture screen, but now I've changed my mind to a 512 GB version with a paperlike screen protector. So much makes sense! Many thanks again!

Thanks for doing this! I hope to get my very first iPad Pro later this year🤞🏻, so I’m paying close attention to reviews this, and I really trust your judgment! Pretty sure I will opt for the glass screen with a Paperlike screen protector. I won’t be using it outside at all, and the nano is just too new. I’m the kind of consumer who likes to let them work out the kinks, and perfect a new technology, before I invest in it!
My pleasure! I’m so glad I was able to compare both screens side by side for an extended period of time under different conditions in order to make a decision. Glass screen + Paperlike is a good choice, it also means you won’t necessarily need to get the 1TB version. I’m curious to see how the nano texture holds up in the long run!
Grat video ! Nano scratch if use only my finger nail and pen ? I hear on net about the bad speakers quality, its true ? No have bass as 2018-2022 models? In who procent?
I am looking to get an iPad for work for content creation that we do. I am leaning towards the regular screen and maybe the smaller form factor. But if work is purchasing for me, I may just go bigger that way I have the space to do more. Thank you for your video.

I bought the 13” with the nano coating. Wrong decision. I would strongly recommend the standard glass version with a matte screen protector

Thanks with great video ! I am very careful with the iPad from 2018, with tempered glass clear. I only use it carefully at home and I noticed some small scratches on tempered glass 10H, but the iPad looks like new. Sometimes reflections are annoying. Do you think that Nano glass will look like new after a period of time? I got used to using it only with my fingers, I don't need a keyboard or a pen, just a smart folio and screen protector. I've always bought the top model and kept them with zero scratches, I'm extremely picky. Which screen suits me?
Thank you! If you are planning on putting a screen protector on it to keep it pristine I would go for the glass screen. It’s too early to tell how well the nano texture screen will hold up with a screen protector on it. On the other hand, if you don’t necessarily need a screen protector because you are careful, you might really like the nano texture screen. It really reduces the glare significantly and I think it feels very nice 😊
This was a really useful comparison! Hard to say which one of the iPad screens would be preferable. At the moment I would most likely opt for the glass version - until there's more long-term experience with the new nano texture. If the nano texture proves to be durable and not too sensitive for scratches, it might be a good alternative for those handling their iPad with care … ;-)

After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?
Ahh these are good questions! I’d always go for the 13”, whether or not you use a monitor. You’ll really appreciate the extra space, it means your hand won’t reach the edge of the screen all the time when note taking (which is disruptive) and now with the new design the weight is quite a bit reduced.
Now for the monitor - I think it depends how much you like sitting at your desk 😅 I tend to do most of my work sitting in on the couch 🙈 But it’s definitely handy to have - especially if you have to work with spreadsheets! Since you can get a nice monitor for not too much money it’s probably worth the investment even if you don’t use it all the time. Hopefully this helps and good luck with your GCSEs!

Bis jetz dütet alles drufhäre, dass es sich im Alltag - weme chli sorg treit - doch sehr guet haltet. Ha no vo niemerem ghört, wo i dene paar Wiche versehentlich e chratzer drigmacht hätt.
Mich persönlich macht d Relefxion und o dr sehr starchi Grip + Fingerabdruckafälligkeit vom normale Glas wahnsinnig. Hoffe, mir gfallts Nano-Textur o in ächt, wenns nächst Wuche chunnt.
Da ab 1 Tb ja e besseri Chip-Performance hesch, hoff i o uf Leisitg wo sich i de nächste 3-5 Jahr mit AI wird uszahle. Falls me das aber bewusst nid möcht u alternativ o würklich nid 1 Tb brucht, ischs normale Gals wäg de Choste vermuetlich scho besser. De villicht mitere abnähmbare Folie, falls me vil schribt. (Rock Paper Pencil vo Astropad?)

I glaube dir wird d'Nano Textur guet gfalle. De Grip isch wohrschinlich nöd e so starch wie du dir's vorschtellsch, aber es isch uf jedä Fall ahgnehmer wie's Glass. Und wenn'd nöd de direkt verglich hesch mit em Glass, denn fallt der au d'Farbänderig nöd uf 😊 Ich wünsche dir ganz viil Spass mit em neue iPad!

Don't buy and return. Make an informed decision at the store. Apple may be a huge company and can afford it, but to create content off of it means you're profiting. Content creators need to stop doing this.

I too don’t like when people take advantage of companies. Taking advantage of anyone is taking advantage. Period. Though I don’t care what this or any other content creator is doing. We don’t know if she is returning it, was sent the iPad by apple, someone gifted it to her or she’s keeping it. Can’t judge when we don’t know

is seriously? Yes, of course we defend a multi-million dollar company, Apple allows you to try the products and if you want you can return them, even if you decided to return the 2 it would not affect anything, since they are Apple's return policies just like any product and online store.
