Thank you for posting. I had never heard Von Otter in this part before and like her rendition very much. Perhaps too tame or predictable for those who enjoy over-the-top embellishments in their Rossini but to me, this recording is like a revival of Van Otter’s stunning performances back in the nineties when the natural ease with which she goes up and down the scales making every note sound pure and simple baffled and moved me - as it does today listening to this.
She's one of the best mezzo-soprano voices ever , great style and technique, powerfull and good taste ... Awesome aria. Thanks 🎼🎶🎵👍
