- This video shows how to preserve and store Pudina/Mint leaves and Coriander leaves.We can make a dry powder and store for later use. This powder is also mixed with rice and eaten as a tasty meal.
Pudina powder
Pudina leaves 2 cups
Channa dal 1 Tbsp
Roasted gram 1 tbsp(chutney dal)
Cumin seeds 1tsp
dry red chillies 6-8
Tamarind a small piece
salt to taste
hing /asafoetida a pinch
Coriander leaves powder
Coriander 2 large bunches
Oil 1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies 8-10
tamarind a small piece
urad dal 1/2 cup
hing /asafoetidaa large pinch
Salt to taste

I love the Pudina Powder and others too. Should I store the powders in the fridge or kitchen counter. How long do they last for. I make in big quantities. Thanks for yr recipes. 🙂
Yes you can store in kitchen counter. pls see that there is no moisture . Always use dry spoon. in fridge you can store in ziplock bags for longer shelflife

In gujrat phudina is used to flavour tea like tulsi and lemon grass by boiling it with tea while preparing tea
