Flipping a BROKEN Craftsman LT2000

  • I bought this tractor for $75. It was advertised as having unknown engine problems. The owner thought it was a bent push rod, broken valve, dirty carb, or blown head gasket. It seemed like a good deal, so I went for it. I diagnosed and fixed it over the weekend and got it all polished and listed for sale!

    My friend, this is the first video that I've ever seen of yours. I can tell you this of all the CZcams videos i watch, i very rarely subscribe and you're one that I did and the reason I did is, you do things the right way for your customers. You did not cut any corners on this particular video. You took the time to even do a repainting of the mower deck and I was just impressed and I look forward to watching all your other videos and great job. Thank you for doing what you do. Not intending to be critical but why waste your time honking on the starter for so long when you should know if it does not fire up in 2 to 3 cranks it needs love. Carb cleaning and fuel system in your case as a starting point. Save the starter and battery if as noted she does not fire up in a few cranks. Just saying

  • @michaelkennedy2528
    @michaelkennedy2528 Před 11 měsíci +1

    @6:00 when you were cranking it, the amount of blow back out of that carb was concerning. I would have checked the valve lash, and a compression test for sure, right off the bat, really simple thing to do I am sure you are aware. The exterior of that carb was a little dirty, did the sonic not clean that?

    • @Kylebythecreek
      @Kylebythecreek  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Yeah I was thinking of the valves all along, but I wanted to hear how it was running first before I checked. And the ultra sonic wasn’t able to knock all the dirt off the exterior of the carb. It was really caked on there
