- Welcome to NAJAF! From Karbala we drove to the city, started with the famous kebab (apparently) and then headed to the shrines in the evening. Iraq comes alive at night so it is great to see what the cities are like after dark. We were of course greeted again with amazing Iraqi hospitality before ending the night with Shisha!

Najaf in the books of the Shiite Muslims, as well as in the books of the ancient Jews, is a plateau that extends to Karbala and in the past it rose from the Euphrates River by about 400 meters. He means that the flood was only over the Middle East region and the outskirts of the earth, and did not include the whole earth, and that the Prophet Noah took with him the animals that he could benefit from, such as cows, goats, sheep, and chickens, and not as the Jews propagated in their writings, he took all the animals from pets.

Not just Shia Muslims go to Arbaeen! Christians go too! I’d love to see these two return in the first few days of September, to walk the FULL walk! That would boost their viewing figures! But they’d have to walk the whole length.

@@ali.m1403 There are plenty of Sunni who do not follow Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh) . There are plenty of Shia who do not follow Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh). There are followers of Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh) who are Sunni. There are followers of Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh) who are Shia….. BUT , if anybody wishes a quick , straight path to try and reach the levels of Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh), then to follow the Shia school of thought , currently led by Ayatollah Khamenei, is the easiest way…… Research WHO Imam Ali and Imam Hussain ( as) actually were…. And you’d become a Shia! Imam Hussain ( as) was the beloved grandson of Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh)! Imam Ali ( as) was the father of Imam Hussain ( as) and the husband of Lady Fatima ( as), the daughter of Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh)……Shias follow Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh) and his family! Imam Mahdi ( atfs) comes from this line! He is the world’s SAVIOUR! He is referred to in the Bible on numerous occasions, yet the Cristians believe , the term ‘ Son of Man’ continuously refers to Prophet Isa ( as). And it doesn’t all the time…..You will soon realise what is Haqq….. I think 23 million pilgrims went to Karbala in 2022, FOR ARBAEEN. And this number would have been far higher, had it not been for Visa restrictions!….This is a miracle in itself. It is a sign from Allah ( swt) , that this path is the best of all paths.
@@ali.m1403 please don’t be judgmental, you have formed this opinion maybe out of ignorance or maybe out of hatred, whatever your reason Allah swt the almighty lord can only judge who is a true Muslim. But just to clarify Shias believe in that there is no other God but Allah and that Allah swt has NO ASSOCIATE (misconception that people believe shias do), prophet Muhammad pbuh is the final prophet and as commanded by Allah swt that the successor after the prophet pbuh is his cousin/son in law Imam Ali a.s followed by 11 imams (direct descendants of prophet Muhammad pbuh) Imam Muhammad Mahdi a.s being the last imam who is alive and in occultation. Shias pray 5 prayers only to Allah swt, they believe in the holy Quran as the word of Allah swt, they fast in the month of Ramadan, give zakat and khums (charity), and perform Hajj, this is the core belief of a Shia. Of course people regardless of whether they are Sunni, wahabbi or Shia are going to have cultural/ practices that maybe not in line with the Islamic principles, if they do such things it does not define that to be their religion belief, if they have sinned then that is between them and the almighty Allah swt, not for man to hold judgement and persecute.
I love Muslim countries . People are so ignorant and they think is dangerous but I think Muslim countries are the safest and people are so kind and beautiful . I love them ❤️

Most of the Iraqi people are not fluent in English because they do not give visas to European or United countries in English. They are friendly and generous people. I hope that the doors will be opened for them to see the outside world. 🤍✨.
