In Conversation With… Janek Rubeš

As the face of Honest Guide, which has nearly 1.4 million CZcams subscribers, Janek Rubeš is also for many the face of Prague. His videos highlight scams to watch out for, but also offer visitors an insider's guide to the Czech capital. But what motivates the young Praguer to tackle illegal money changers and dodgy exchange offices? And how does he feel the city could be improved?

I was surprised Janek couldn't think of anything to change, if he was a king. I live in Prague and my list has many pages. We all see the world with different eyes, I guess. And he was too humble in remembering what he was proud of influencing. In my opinion what he has done in the matter of Prague taxi drivers is worth of applauding. Thank you, Janek, for that effort!
