- A very infant 2-month loft update that I'm quite proud of for the things I've scavenged since getting my solo apartment đ€ From building the Floyd bed to lots of haggling on FB marketplace, the loft is starting to feel like a space of my own- a sort of haven and safe space that I get really excited to come home to. Hopefully this sparks some intentional space design ideas and please know that you never need the exact piece to recreate anything you might find interesting to you!

I find it hard to accept that it takes time for things to turn out well, and sometimes a bit longer than expected. We just have to be patient and trust the process. Thank you for the gentle reminder!

What you said about silence really hit me deeply. I love that idea of doing things in silence. I feel so distracted and lost all the time. I just set a goal for me to sit in silence during my car ride to work. I have to work up to that time cuz 25-30 minutes feels like a long time right now. Anyways, thank you for sharing your life with the world.

For that little nook space near your bathroom maybe move your bed there (idk how easy it'll be to move lol) so you have more privacy when guests come over ? This will also help with continuity of your working and living spaces (though achieving continuity is difficult in loft apartments). And plants would look amazing contrasting the red brick walls. you have some design classics, I like the USM-Haller with the turntable, I have a similar setup. Also with USM-Haller, but with a Braun Atelier turntable on the original Braun Atelier stand.
A Cassina LC 3 sofa by Le Corbusier would fit really well in your loft. You can customize it completely and not have it in classic black

The chair in not overplayed ! I have had one for 20 yrs and I have a friend who inherited one from her father that he had when he was young in 1970's , it's worn in , the leather is softer and more relaxed it looks even better .
