Candy Crush Saga's Mobile/HTML5 version was the best from 2012 until 2016...After 2016 it went downhill. It will never be the same as it was before with the original map and old simple graphics and layout...

The dreamworld version lasted from 2013-2017.
It was good In 2016 it was bad in 2017
I liked the whoosh sound when you completed the level on the older versions. I miss it😢

remember that I started playing candy crush saga since 2014, I liked the old level design, the extra levels at night with the owl (I remember that when you lost a life in the normal levels, that loss did not count in the owl levels), the I really liked the old candy crush much more than the one from 2017 onwards

yeah, all changed in 2017 and the old candy crush was gone.
@@CougarTheCat258They should add a feature that you can switch to old. I suggested that for Candy Crush Soda on King Community but they didn't want that. So for right now we probably have to stick with old versions.

I've been playing since 2013 and this video remembered me so much memories. Luckily I downloaded a 2014 version of it and the nostalgia hits hard when I play it. I didn't remember all started to change in 2017. Thank you for this awesome video.

I still remember playing candy crush saga from 2015 May , I still remember That tall man shaking his head , An Owl Falling repeatedly failing the level , A unicorn , and a dragon crying and laughing , An Alien on the planet and Best of which The hardest levels , which even take 2-3 months to clear at that time . My favourite version is the 2016 version , and its all fine till 2017 .After that I never saw The Owl and those Stories with different characters after each episode .Till today again .Very sweet memories ! Luckily the 2016 version of candy crush is still available in my android .So I'm able to see that Owl again !

The game was very good until 2017,then something happened to it. I stopped playing candy crush, but my mom still play.Now I'd rather play Candy Crush Soda Saga.

I started playing it in 2013. Now I'm up to Level 3,513.
I think 2016 is the best year but I do like the faster falling candies better in 2017. So the 2017 map is the 2nd best one.

google play protect says that the apk thats the update before they removed the timed levels is an old version and doesnt have the latest privacy protections and could harm my phone
Google just wants you to have the latest version double checked to make sure it is not harmful and it is not harmful.
Level 252 was one of the best level for og players

So i downloaded the apk of an old version in apkmirror, and im trying to open it with package installer, but it says that if i want to update candy crush (the one i have currently up to date) then i press yes and it says app not installed as package appears to be invalid, what do i do?

We couldn't find a version for Candy Crush Saga from 2012. But during Summer 2022 I found a Version from 2012 on Flash Point! It will be featured in future Evolution of Candy Crush Saga Videos
In 2012, it plays the Candy Crush Soda Playing Game Music! Now this was not in the Candy Crush Saga game. It is in the Soda version from 2014 to now! Note that we don't own the 2012 video. The new Evolution of Candy Crush Saga video in 2012 section is owned by us. If the owner of the video ask us to take it down. The 2012 section will be blurred and audio muted.

I cloned an apk of either a 2016 or 2017 version with app cloner like you told me to, i tried to open it but it asked me to download i tried to but google play protect came in saying its an old version and can harm my phone.
What do i do?
Google play puts that there so you can update just press keep
