Paige and Julia

Paige and Julia studied drawing with Cynthia Gehrie at Harvest Studio for three weeks this summer. The focus of the class was the artistic process. They set 6 goals for the class. Each class began with a warm up to music. There was a demonstration of technique by Cynthia, followed by a studio session where they applied the technique. They moved from sketch to draft to final drawing. Their drawings and their documentation boards of process will be exhibited on August 20 as part of the Living Loess Tour at Loess Hills Wood Works, 1919 Old Lincoln Highway in Crescent, IA.
