That's really interesting! I have 2 hair textures, one is straight and the other is very different, sort of curly but sort of all over the place so not coily, i have noticed that the hair shaft is almost flat, oval shaped like how they mentioned the follicle is! While my straight hair shafts are round, even thickness all around.
