I have the Exact same Skytech! But my card was bad when I got the machine so they replaced my 3070 with a 3070 gigabyte! Very cool. I love the machine, and the free card upgrade was awesome! I highly recommend Skytech!

I got the omen 7 25l with a 1660 super and ryzen 5 cpu. Honestly I can’t complain. Only thing I would recommend is adding an extra 8gigs of ram if you got the 8gb standard version. Tabs tend to lag a little bit on close when browsing. Otherwise I can play pretty much any game on high settings 60-120fp no issues.

you probably have already gotten him a pc but if not get him a msi laptop, mine overheats a bit but i can trun the fans up, which if u do get him a laptop since its cheaper maybe buy a monitor and the things too so he has a bigger/ better display. You seem like an awesome mom for being interested in your sons intrests as well
Great video! I bought a Skytech Chronos with a Rx 6800 in it back in 2020... Still running great and paired with a 2k ultrawide monitor hitting above 100 FPS on Ultra on most games. Great mid-tier value.
@@Jon_EL Absolutely I've opened it up, only once because of an issue, but that very well could have been from when I installed a couple additional SSDs. Other than a few small quarks on the build quality end I would say 8/10 as things could have been better but it is far from unacceptable for the price. I'd recommend Skytech if you can't build your own... or in my case during the 2020 video card crisis.
@Hitler Loves Anime its hard for me to give an exact recommendation as I haven't been watching that market for a while now, but the setup I referred to above is a great 2k build (will play pretty much anything way above 100 FPS on max settings, but will hover around 100 FPS with an ultra wide 2k like what I have on the most demanding titles.. the model I have is gigabyte brand, but I watched (along with several others) and waited for it to come down in price before snagging it up. I tend to stay away from the cheaper brands and consult the monitor review sites for info. Anyways good luck finding your next panel... I really love my ultra wide but this is pretty much the lowest level of build I would recommend one for. Oh and thanks it's a few year old Pic, but I still got a good beard and stash going.. lol
So I guess I'm gonna have to save up (or hope for a sale) for that Skytech Gaming - PRISM II. Not cheap, but if it's as good as you say, I'm sure I'll be happy. One thing, however, since I plan to hook this up to an Atmos capable 7.2.4 receiver, I needn't be concerned with a soundcard, right? Just get Dolby Access for games with Atmos audio and simply output 7.1 through the video card's HDMI out for everything else? I'm assuming/hoping that hasn't changed (aside from needing Dolby Access) since the last time I built a PC.

Late last summer I went with the Corsair Vengeance with the i9 and the RTX 3080 ti and it is a dream. I also managed to let the side glass door slip and drop half an inch. I was working on a granite counter top, not a good idea. It exploded and shattered to a million pieces. Corsair shipped me a replacement immediately at no cost! How is that for service?

can you use the data to find a "building fee." for example, a $1500 prebuilt pc performs like a $1200 pc, therefore your paying a $300 building fee. The use that to see if some pcs are charging more or less building fee?
My next purchase will be the HP Omen 45L it keeps GPU cooler than all the others as the purchase I made a year ago was an Alienware and the GPU burned up only after 3 Months!

@Hitler Loves Anime its hard for me to give an exact recommendation as I haven't been watching that market for a while now, but the setup I referred to above is a great 2k build (will play pretty much anything way above 100 FPS on max settings, but will hover around 100 FPS with an ultra wide 2k like what I have on the most demanding titles.. the model I have is gigabyte brand, but I watched (along with several others) and waited for it to come down in price before snagging it up. I tend to stay away from the cheaper brands and consult the monitor review sites for info. Anyways good luck finding your next panel... I really love my ultra wide but this is pretty much the lowest level of build I would recommend one for. Oh and thanks it's a few year old Pic, but I still got a good beard and stash going.. lol

So I guess I'm gonna have to save up (or hope for a sale) for that Skytech Gaming - PRISM II. Not cheap, but if it's as good as you say, I'm sure I'll be happy.
One thing, however, since I plan to hook this up to an Atmos capable 7.2.4 receiver, I needn't be concerned with a soundcard, right? Just get Dolby Access for games with Atmos audio and simply output 7.1 through the video card's HDMI out for everything else? I'm assuming/hoping that hasn't changed (aside from needing Dolby Access) since the last time I built a PC.
Just build your own but corsair lately has had a great combination of price and build quality

@akira._1 fps isn't the same for every game lol. Warzone 2 gets around 100 fps tho

Late last summer I went with the Corsair Vengeance with the i9 and the RTX 3080 ti and it is a dream. I also managed to let the side glass door slip and drop half an inch. I was working on a granite counter top, not a good idea. It exploded and shattered to a million pieces. Corsair shipped me a replacement immediately at no cost! How is that for service?

can you use the data to find a "building fee." for example, a $1500 prebuilt pc performs like a $1200 pc, therefore your paying a $300 building fee. The use that to see if some pcs are charging more or less building fee?
