She was my favorite on ER. I couldn't take my eyes off of her during the show. Great actress.

I've been re-watching ER now that HBO got it. Maura Tierney is absolutely incredible. Her acting is so natural and effortless and her comic timing is spot on. I wish Newsradio would be available somewhere.

They did such a good job with her character on ER they really portrayed how she was a “mess”. I lived her character after she became a doctor I loved how she broke the rules and didn’t care she just wanted to help people

Though I recognize that an actor doesn't write his or her own material, I found Maura Tierney as
Abby Lockhart on "er" to be joyless and unsympathetic. I'm a huge "er" fan. Unfortunately, when the series shifted to a disproportionate focus on the characters of Luka and Abby, the series began its sharp decline into soap opera land. Honestly, I don't consider Tierney to be a very good actor.
