Fr. Seán ÓLaoire, born in Ireland, embarked on a journey of profound exploration and service. My granddad's land is in Moytura, which is said to have been the site of that big battle and where the Tutha De Dannan went underground. When my daughter was born, the first thing I noticed about her is that her ears bore resemblance to the ears of the Fae. I've always felt connection to the Fae. This confirmed to me that that connection is true. There are many fairy forts and circles around Sligo (where I'm from), and I have photos of some of them that are full of orbs. I too was raised catholic and have been recovering from that since about 17/18, when I went back to my pagan roots. The awakening that's been happening the last 15 years or so has been so interesting to see.
Sligo is incredible ! The Tuatha De Danaan battle's field ! And the Queen Maeve's cairn !
The fae are not all good. Some are malevolent. The white light ones are good.

Buda teaches you to have no suffering..
Christ teaches you to have it...
...but without suffering your soul does not evolve... you can not feel compassion without suffering first...
