Do you have any recommendations on how to deal with dry roots? Most videos on youtube tend to emphasize moisturizing your ends, but I find that my roots (especially on the perimeter of my scalp) gets really dry, frizzy and sometimes brittle. I also get the most tangles at my roots on wash day.
@@shaniw.4728 Maybe try a mask with heat? Leave it on with a plastic bag and use a hairdryer at a distance.
1. pre-poo and detangle
2. Shampoo
3. Tea rinse then deep conditioner on top of it.
4. Rinse
5. Air dry till damp and do a jumbo roller set to stretch. (I have high porosity hair so its fast)

I use to wash my hair regularly with Aztec clay, apple cider, amla, and aloe. My hair felt so soft,moisturized, and grew all the same. But after 7 months my hair became filmy and hard to moisturize. I had to clarify my hair with regular shampoo. And It bounced back. 😊

Does your fine natural hair tend to knot up/ turn into single strand knots when you wear your hair out like this? I want to wear my hair out like this more often but I'm afraid of the nightmare tangles that I usually get after enjoying this style..

LOL!!! I was just literally writing a comment asking how do you get all the clay mask off your scalp. I love how defined the bentonite clay made my curls last time I used it, but it was hard to get all of it off my scalp. Then the shampooing part of your vdeo came up with you scrubbing the sections, and I see how now 😂😂. I don't scrub my scalp that much. You was working that thang!!! I usually do 2 or 4 sections, but I'm going to use this technique next time so I can be more thorough. Thank you! 💕

You could try to make the substance of clay and liquid a bit thinner. It rinses of easier💜💜💜

I use red clay on my fine hair, I feel it is way more moisturizing than the white clay but also a bit messier. I mix mine with castor oil. Now that I've seen the coconut oil version I want to try it, though, maybe with shea?
