I'm looking for a guide about how to read and interpret this analysis but I can not find it. How can i tell if the battery is ok or not? Do you have links to read?
Golden rules are: 0.5C - 1.0C as a range. In this video case: nominal 2200mAh 1.2V (do not confuse with mWh!), so 0.5C = 1.1A up to 2.2A for 1.0C, but above 1A is not recommended as the cell will get hot. So as a general rule use between half the capacity and 1.0A max. If a cell can reach higher mAh and higher A for recharge and *won't get hot* you can push up the limit above 1.0A...
For a 1.2V 1100mAh AAA for example I recommend to user a lower C compared to AA batteries, so 0.5C rule will be good enough (0.5A) for charging.
Not recommended to recharge at less than 0.3C.
Hello.Works on 18650 cells, and the analize mode, works on all the ports at the same time.thx
Thanks i will buy it now....🙂🙂🙂🙂
Hi is this analysis function is the same with the cycle of batteries?
Can someone please explain, what to look out for? When are the results ok, when to replace the battery?
My experience with this charger is that some empty batteries charge very little like 300mAh until full. Plug it in again and then it charges the full charge. The charger itself should tell if something is wrong, but it doesn't..
hi...i've got mine (isdt n8) with 'activation charge' function disabled and i can't figure out how to switch it on......any idea?
Does it charge 1.5 v aa lion batteries?
Bad that after analysis, it does not show discharge capacity but only shows charge capacity, which is always more than 100% (due to inefficiencies, especially with old cells)
Yes it is not the best charger there is..
This charger does not cutoff when battery is fully charged it will continue to charge and make battery not warm but hot. Am I missing something in the settings?
It should cut off. No setting for that.
@@PalmaVDO got my charger with eneloop pro yesterday and was charging them with the eneloop setting, when finished they were at 51°C (123,8°f for freedom unit users)
Just received mine and instantly don't understand the meaning of "100mAh / 99%" in the analyze process, which is not described in the 1-page "manual". Google leads me to this video - can anyone explain this? And by the way: what is the real time of this nice video?
You can see at the end: 6:36. Not sure what you mean with the other question.
What's the difference with "Analysis" and "Activation"?
Analysis analyses batteries andxactivation revives old batteries.
@@PalmaVDO Would the capacity displayed after an activation cycle be a more accurate representation of the battery's capacity than analysis? I have tried both, and the stated capacity from analysis is very implausible due to the age and conditions of the batteries I'm trying to use. It would be nice if there were better documentation for this charger from the manufacturer.
So it seems 1.54 V is assumed as "full charge".
Yes, the charger is less sophisticated than it looks.
How accurate was it?
