Don't really know. The last words are "they thank them for their patronage and take the final bow"
If I had to guess, it’s about someone putting on a “mask” and pretending to be someone different while out in public. However, because of it they lose their sense of identity. Once they realize that they don’t know who they are anymore they “take their final bow” aka leaving this moral coil so to speak. But that’s only my interpretation, and I could be wrong.
I think it has multiple meanings like
1.Somone who lies about theyer mentil health saying there fine all there life
2. A manipulater or somone evil pretending to be kind to get what they want
3. Somone who changes there personality for other peaple but ends up having little to no identity
