Yes, but with no negative side effects or anything bad to the family. Maybe the "other way" Eclipse mentioned might be better than what Moon wants to do. I feel the evil sun did something to ruin and eclipse so they can't be sacrificed. I pray Moon doesn't go through with his plan and it is stopped before something worse happens. I don't want to see Moon suffer anymore and same for the family. I fear if Moon tries to sacrifice Ruin, whatever evil Sun did might backlash and cause Moon to be sacrificed instead. Please Moon calm down. Eclipse is going to let Earth, and maybe Lunar and Sun too, hear the recording and she or they better help Moon because he needs it so very badly. If he is working for someone, I feel like it would have been hinted at who it was before or during this episode. They might be setting something up, but I think he might want to work for someone, so he’s gathering offerings.
About the where he sleeps thing, I don’t think it’s anywhere comfortable. The poor guy has so many enemies. He needs a place that is safe and far away. He also needs a charger unless he has some kind of solar panel charging. He probably sleeps in some abandoned house or maybe an unused car.

Oh Moon :( He doesn't even understand that Earth cares for Eclipse, and it seems Eclipse cares for her now even if he won't show it entirely. If Eclipse HAS recorded that like he said he would, it's gonna be very sad when Earth hears this.
The truth is, yes he shouldn’t be lying to his family, but I don’t believe we should all be going on him like this. How would you feel? If you were in his situation? He scared pissed off and anxious. He had a nightmare about his little brother getting kidnapped only for his little brother to nearly get kidnapped on the same day
@@rainpuppy14 Oh no I definitely wasn't calling Moon bad, after everything he's been through -- but he IS making huge mistakes right now out of that desperation which will only hurt the family he's so desperate to protect, and it's just sad to see so clearly how he's making.
Like, just taking Earth, OF COURSE Moon wants to protect her, but because he's pulled away from them he's 100% going AGAINST what she wants. Earth and Eclipse now share a bond (some kind of friendship or care between them, in whatever way Eclipse is capable of feeling close to someone), but Moon thinks no one would care if he died and is willing to kill him, which would hurt Earth badly. And for Eclipse's part, he's changed and cares for Earth, but Moon will not see it.
And Ruin. Absolutely, people can feel about Ruin however we want, whether we think he deserves to die or not. Even Earth previously, in a moment of anger, said she'd trade Ruin's life for Solar if pushed to it. But just last episode (Earth takes care of Eclipse), Earth retracted that statement, and clarified that she DOES NOT think it's right to kill Ruin, even after what he did; (she even says she thinks it was wrong of her to say Ruin deserved to die earlier.) So Moon deciding to kill Ruin without telling anyone, and saying "no one will care if Ruin dies," is AGAINST what Earth actually wants.
(And it sounds like Sun was uncomfortable with the idea, too, when Moon asked him about sacrificing Ruin.)
So Moon is making mistakes. If only he could see he's directly going against Earth and doing the exact opposite of what she wants. IN THE REGARD OF "I'm trying to protect my family and make sure they're not hurt again", he IS going to hurt Earth at the very least if he continues on this path, potentially the others in the family too. He's in such a bad mental state he's blind to it. It's a tragedy for him. He needs help. He deserves help. Someone help him plz. Plz plz plz.

Eclipse is right about old Moon not being as sadistic as this - new Moon wants to sacrifice Ruin _literally because he doesn’t want to wait_ (and also probably because he wants to ‘avenge Solar’s death’ by killing him). At least old Moon had the excuse of a literal Kill Code in his coding. He couldn’t help it if he wanted to. What’s the current Moon’s excuse? That he’s grieving? I understand that grief for the loss of someone he loved will affect him, and badly at that, but a life for a life, when it’s _someone else’s_ you’re sacrificing at that, is not the answer.
What he wants to do is wrong, and he must be aware of that in some capacity, or he wouldn’t be so adamant about keeping it a secret from the others - he knows they’d try to stop him. And it’s one thing to leave them in the dark by leaving out the truth, it’s another when he actively _lied to Sun’s face_ to hide what he’s doing.

… you know, when Earth gets this recording, it will be the first time she’s seen for herself the worst side of Moon. Shes seen the aftereffects of some of his more unwise decisions, but she has never encountered it directly.
It might hit hard to see this part of her brother. Lunar killing Eclipse was a sort of spur of the moment thing. But the recording she’s about to get? It’s an example of a whole lifelong pattern of behaviour of Moons.
As far as I’m concerned she has no reason to get angry at him about this one that’s not gonna help too we know moon is naturally the protector and I don’t think any of us blame him for this. His family is in a constant state of almost daily getting threats I mean, Luna was nearly kidnapped earth was torn apart by blood moon. Solar disappeared thanks to ruin and how many times of people said sun is going to die.

Looking at the virus looking stuff on the side of the titlecard, I wonder if Old Moon is 'infecting' Moon and amplifying Moon's emotions. This obviously doesn't excuse Moon's behavior or that hiding all of this from his family. But it could explain how fast Moon is losing it.

We know he’s fell off his rocker a while ago😵💫. I understand Moon wants to protect his family and have Solar back but he Needs to sit down and Listen to what people are telling him. The longer he floats down this river the farther he’s drifting away from the people he’s desperate to protect.
