Kinda the Same here. I broke in my New Victory Red 2012 Chevrolet Camaro with PHOTOGRAPH.
I remember when I was about 7 years old and my older cousin had her driver's license and this voice came out of the speakers "Step inside, walk this way, you and me babe, hey hey!" Then this huge guitar and drums happened and I was hooked! Not even Motley Crue had a sound like Def Leppard (and I am a huge fan of the Crue!) Ever since I was 7 I lived, breathed and became a huge fan of Def Leppard! I was born the same year that their debut album "On Through the Night" came out in 1979. Def Leppard is still hitting their fans with the same great sounds 43 years later. Rock On forever Def Leppard!, Thanx for the great music!
Growing up, my cousin and I were best friends. I think we were 13 years old when Pour Some Sugar On Me came out. As soon as we heard the "Step inside, walk this way..." my cousin and I could be heard yelling "CRANK IT!!!" In my parent's car.
We wanted it LOUD when Phil started his riff!

My most favorite song ever recorded, sang by the hot as F man ever! I love the band. For my birthday, I wanted to ring in age 60 the best way possible. Tickets to the Stadium tour was EXACTLY how it's done! Campers World in Orlando, Florida was outstanding!!! Way to 'Bring on the Heartbreak' of leveling up! LOL! You were way past amazing!!!

I loved every song from DEF LEPPARD
I remember exactly where I was and who I was with the first time I ever heard that song.
I was fortunate enough to be at the concert where they filmed the video for this song. It was at McNichols Arena in Denver CO and Tesla was the opening band. Great memories!
Purchased the 12" extended version on vinyl back around 1988. Still a great rock song. Not sure about the modern interpretation, but each to their own.

Indeed, it was big in the US in stadiums! The first time I ever heard it was in the summer of 1988, in a stadium in Los Angeles during a break and I just couldn’t figure out who is the band or what’s the name of the song! When I got back to Jordan, a couple of weeks later, a friend of mine gave me the Hysteria album and when I heard this song on it, I was so pleased that it somehow found its way to me, and I’ve been a Def Leppard fan ever since! That’s how it was for us as teenagers in the 80s, and people nowadays are just so lucky to simply ask Siri to ‘name this tune’!

I was walking to the store yesterday and a man on the street said, "Stop! In the name of love!" as I walked by. I didn't stop because it seemed risky to engage with whatever he had going on, but it's a good thing he didn't say, "Pour some sugar on me, in the name of love." Against my better judgment, I might have actually stopped if only to bond with him over our mutual Leppard appreciation, which would have obviously led to my abduction and murder.
It's a good thing you kept walking or you wouldn't be here to make your comment. Not a joke. That does happen to a lot of people unfortunately. They get tricked into sharing something with a complete stranger and the next thing that happens, they end up on the local news broadcast reported as a missing person. I've heard some stories about it. Thank God you had the sense to keep going and ignoring that guy or you would've ended up being reported as a missing person where you live.

Whatever that guy had going on, I don't want to know but some people are really upping the catcalling game, for sure. It was so funny, I almost laughed out loud but I managed to keep a straight face and keep walking like I hadn't heard him. I honestly don't even know if he was talking to me. I probably wasn't the only woman within 20 feet of him so I just cruised by.

Hysteria was a hit with the ladies, I was back then and still am the old pre Hysteria lover, But had to listen to Hysteria because of the women
Boy would I love to hear a new Def Leppard album like the first three that made me a fan because they fuqkin rocked! Then they got too sugary and commercial. Last live tour I paid for was Hysteria for the older, harder songs. Viv is a stellar hard rock player! Dio, Whitesnake, Last In Line and the band with Lou Gramm. Use that mans licks with Phil and make a hard rock album again... please? Only a real fan would tell you the truth. You sold out, it was hard rock that made you famous then it's like you only cared about the money, not the music. Pyromania was your last hard rock album and then it all got sugary and corporate. I still have my promotional copy of High N Dry signed. That's my personal favorite album. Even four or five hard rock songs on a new album to get back where it began and bring us original fans back. Not saying it's all bad lads, but you lost that raw edge after Pyromania. From an honest original fan in Utah.

I remember me with my Union Jack sleeveless T-Shirt, long hair, my Ray Bans in my 84 Chevy Monte Carlo tooling round the streets of Philly with Hysteria cranked up on the Pioneer. Me and the guys would see hot chicks and stop to chat them up, 9 times outta 10 the chicks would hop in. Oh how I long for those carefree days, no deadlines or commitments, just one nonstop party... but those days came to an end.... yup, they sure did.

I LOVE this song! However, that soft version in the intro of the video, with Joe and that woman, was just sickening to hear.
Some things just don't translate from hard rock to soft balad. The original release of Pour Some Sugar On Me, was/is a hard-hitting, spine-chilling, bad-ass adrenaline pumping hit!
You cannot just start singing it like some sappy, weepy love song like "The Rose".🤮
