- Absolutely blown away by this mod, holy shit. I don't wanna throw the official FNF team under the bus, but it's going to be REALLY hard one-upping this mod whenever the real Hank week comes out. Like... my GOD this was way too damn incredible, it seriously feels like an official update, which I think is a VERY big compliment. God, from all the incredible assets, to Sanford and Deimos showing up, then Tricky and all the other incredibly cool stuff going on literally everywhere, this was such an amazing experience that I will definitely remember for a VERY long time! Especially with the music... god, Accelerant sounds absolutely incredible and Hank's voice is just SO good, I wouldn't imagine it any other way. Seriously beautiful idea for the Online VS mod, I CANNOT wait for more challenge weeks like this, if they're going to be as high quality as this, then we're in for a treat! Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. We joke about the madness characters sounding like cars, but Tricky is a zombie clown with his mouth blown open with a portable improbability drive shoved into him, Hank doesn’t even have a lower jaw, the MAGs are mutated grunts with minds for only murder, I love all of them.
Hank has a metal one after tricky kinda obliterated his normal one in madness 5 after smashing it on the ground but I doubt the metal one is very useful

Everything about this mod oozes love and care for it. From the bullet notes being integrated into the song to Tricky's little "HAA-" as he falls away is perfect. Even Hank opening his jaw at the end is just wonderful.

Genuinely, every time I hear Tricky go 'HAAAaaay', it makes me laugh. It's just so perfectly comedic.
One thing I want to note is how hank's gunshots are much more quick, sneaky and integrated in the song compared to for example hd pico's that are much more blunt, loud, and interrupting, it shows how hank is a skilled fighter that is never predictable unless there's a good reason not to be

Well he is the best mercenary around in Nevada and he literally came back to life many times already which is quite suprising

Its honestly such good audio design to mske thr gunshots actually fit in with the music, mad props to the composer for this mod because its so fucking quality. Can't imagine the real Hank week will be able to match up to this sadly.

@@deejaycxre I believe him saying "HAYYY!!!" is a reference to Madness Combat 7: Consternation, when he says "HAY!!!" after he witnesses Jebus kill Hank in front of him, who wanted to kill Hank himself. There's no voice line in the scene, but I presume it must be a reference to that point in the series.

When Tricky falls off the boombox and does that weird animation, it's a reference to Madness Accelerant. In the opening section, you had to shoot Tricky so he could go into Hellclown (or Fire Tricky) mode. When you do inevitably shoot him, he falls off using the same animation.
I also love how Hank just looks at Tricky like: "this isn't your mod idiot"

I’m sure the official Hank week will be amazing, but this song really did do everything I wanted from a Hank themed song. Phantom Arcade’s style for Tricky, all the shit that goes on throughout the song, the bullets being integrated really smoothly into the song. All of it. What a good ass mod

The gunshots especially in the unfair/fu*ked version add such a good beat to the song which is already perfect- plus the super official looking interface, ik it's not in this video but it looks so official, and honestly part of me hopes that the developers would have used that interface since it looks so perfect for FNF's style. One interesting detail I didn't see anyone mention is that in Tricky's section [1:03] the notes don't light up when 'pressed' in the same way as Hank or BF, being more akin to vanilla FNF where the opponent's notes simply don't light up. If intentional then it's likely meant to show off how Tricky isn't really meant to be here and that his notes are not the same as Hank's. If unintentional then it's probably just small oversight where the programmer(s) forgot to make Tricky's notes light up in the same manner as Hank & BF.

I believe that we have a new standard for quality here. Like Whitty and his 3rd fase, Tricky and his mechanic, and Garcello with the serious storytelling his week brought to the table, this mod clearly feels like the natural evolution of the FNF formula.
Like the aforementioned mods and all the trends they spawned, the next ones to come should look to this mod in particular for inspiration.

I love how bf’s animations got smoother as if we puts more frames into his sprites.
My favorite part here is that Tricky's mechanic from his mod was used here. Hard version contains bullets and fire notes by Tricky and then in FU*KED version, It contains so many bullets and Tricky's Halo notes just to make it harder. Specially the real scene of accelerant was on this mode. Also that health drain when Tricky comes It's so good. I feel like this is the Week 8 official.
This guy REALLY needs to submit this on new grounds for madness day. Krinkles has set up a nice cash grab for animations, pictures, and games. This guy would take first hands down for any of those categories!

The ONLY thing I dislike about it is that it's time-limited. Meaning after 25th of September you can't play it (probably in a version update or a software update in-game since it's an Online mod)

Not really. It's time-limited if you don't pass the challenge at all. The creator, TheBlueHatted, said that only high-ranked players and players that passed the challenge could play the song again after the time limit. It's a great reward, for a great mod.

Omg, this looks so incredible and well done. Although, I still think the original devs of the game will still be able to create something much more better or accessible in the future. Because as for now, this is only available on windows. Now imagine this on many platforms (f.e MacOS etc) with maybe more better gameplay and scenery.

The way Sanford and Deimos aim down sights on GF while bobbing in the background, the sick background, the fact that Hank gives you the must-hit notes and Tricky gives you the must-not-hit notes, GF vibing with a hotdog (not that kind you sicko), Hank having an animation for shooting while singing and for looking at Tricky, Tricky talking after he gets shot and coming back aND GIVING YOU THE NOTES and the grunts that get shot down it's all so great this is like the best Hank mod I've seen.

I love how in the Funked difficulty, when Tricky gets knocked off the stage and returns in his giant form, Deimos and Sanford start shooting Tricky at the same time that Hank tries to shoot BF. I don't watch Madness Combat anymore (the amount/brutality of the violence and gore eventually got to me) but I thought it's cool that they're just up there like "Yup, this guy's goin' down" with their sniper rifles lol. I'm very excited to see what the official release for Hank has for us, if it's better than this mod, then we're in for one wild time :kekw:

I like how Hank sings whenever he wants and even shot at BF when he interupted him during his turn. Hank doesn't really wait for his turn and will just sing when he wants and will get annoyed at you for singing over him. He doesn't really play fair and I love it

I've been seeing this one go around, glad you got to play it! All the details in this are amazing and I absolutely love what they did with Hank's poses, it's so good!!! And the appearance of Tricky as well as the boys and the little details near the end are so so good!! Best Hank challenge by far!!

I really love how the bullets actually add to the song instead of just being something you have to avoid hitting and adds nothing but challange to the song. Plus it just helps bring the song together with that extra beat.
It kinda makes sense how Hank's gun notes are the opposite of Tricky's fire/hell notes; they are enemies (except Tricky is the 2nd antagonist, first is Auditor), of course

A year later and I still love this song, especially hanks vocals. While everyone assumes hank as some deep ass highly dangerous guy, this hank shows him being a normal being as everyone just scarred within every body part and has many enemies. Hank being a badass matches his voice reminding me of guitar and how bad ass it goes!
