Love your explanations and how clearly you speak in this video and you have the first of 1000 videos I've seen where the lens cover actually comes off albeit voiding the warranty
Would this be a better camera than the GoPro 12 for filming in extreme sunny daylight conditions ?
If you filmed in 8K on this and in 5.3K on the GoPro 12 and downscaled both videos to 4K, would the insta360 video look clearer because it was filmed in 8K originally ?

I think that in sunny conditions the differences will be minor.
As for the downscaling - you wouldn't really see differences either. There is a 8K sample next to a GoPro 5.3K sample and the difference is not about the pixel density, it is more about the amount of details the image sensors can capture.
Can I use the FALCAM F22 Quick Release Kit for Insta360 that I use with my Insta 360 X3?

It is without ND filter in this case. The day was without sunshine, very bright though.
That cameo in the into shot of the camera :D Was it a bug or a feature?

Както винаги - чудесно видео ! След като го изгледах, реших да заменя своя Osmo Action 3 със Ace Pro + GPS remote.Все още се опознаваме и разучавам всичко :) Първото което ми направи впечатление е, че загравя доста повече от ОА3 при 4к и 60 кадъра.
Хмм, интересно. При мен OA 3 често сгряваше доста. Засега Ace Pro ми се струва една идея по-хладна. Каква карта ползваш?
@@TechMishka Ползвам Samsung 256GB PRO Plus която ми остана от Х3. :) Също ми се струва, че падерията пада няколко идеи по-бързо от на ОА3, дано се пооправи след няколко цикъла :)

The problem with the GoPro 12 I think is the sound. Watched 3 films from Ultra Running in Sweden, the same race, and 1 got no sound, 1 had big problems with a strange sound and for 1 person it worked flawlessly.
It is down to settings and wind-proofing. GoPro's microphones are usually.excellent.
As the owner of GoPros, DJI's and Insta360 cameras, GoPro is losing this battle and badly. DJI is still a strong contender with the larger sensor, better interface and app integration, Ace Pro is even better and with many innovative features, it's 2024, GoPro is still living in 2019. What's really sad is I use to be a big GoPro fan and they are the grandfather of Action Cameras for the past few years, they have gotten lazy and it's rather embarrassing that a 1st generation camera is already a strong contender if not a better overall camera then a 12th generation camera. GoPro has been losing revenue the last 3 years and if 13 still inherits it's chronic issues and not innovative, they won't survive, it's unfortunate, they have the customer base but that's changing quickly with cameras like DJI A4 and Ace Pro, wait til Ace Pro 2 comes out lol
Agreed about GoPro. I also like them a lot, but I really dislike the fact that they redesign their UI every now and then. Insta360 push hard and looks like they make a point with this new camera.
