Hailee's new song came out today and it's very likely that both sunkissing and coast are connected (as in album connected). She also did address hws part 2 many times; she said she felt she had stayed in that emotionally difficult era long enough and that she had gotten everything out that she had felt in part one. She wanted to focus on a bigger body of work (album), so she scrapped part 2. Also, a lot of her musical success has decreased because of her record label. Republic (and the others she's signed to) does not support her and it's been proven time and time again. Her acting has obviously taken away music success too but there are other factors to why she's so inconsistent.
i used to listen to hailee all the time in 2015-2016 and i miss when she used to release music more regularly, i hope she releases an album soon she was one of my favorite artists
Out of all the people you mentioned, I only care for Bridget Mendler. She had an amazing album. I wish she could have stayed in the music industry. She could have been huge right now.

Hailee has one problem and that is that her label doesn’t care to promote her anymore. She had a whole era in 2020 and yes I know there was the pandemic but labels figured out how to adapt. Republic is doing nothing for her. Coast, the lead single she put out last July, was an excellent pop song and had everything to be a hit. They really sabotaged her by not letting her release it earlier in the summer and letting her release it the same day Beyonce released Renaissance. Furthermore Coast only got a music video bc the fans BEGGED for one. And it didn’t come out til like September/October. In the mean time they didn’t promote the song AT ALL. It’s a shame truly bc she is talented.

What’s strange is that in various interviews from 2014-2015 Bridgit made it clear that her second album was almost ready. I’ve heard from some people that she was actually dropped from Hollywood Records because she broke her contract by singing a song for her show “Undateable”, but I can’t find any real sources to verify that. Either way, I’m really hopeful that Bridgit can make a return to music at some point (and I’d love a Good Luck Charlie reunion special)

bridgit co wrote EVERY song on her debut album + every song she released afterwords too! shes criminally underrated, talented, and honestly, i wish she kept releasing. she couldve had a sabrina carpenter-esque build up with word of mouth & a better label.

I once listened to Hailee all the time and thought she can end up going to the same level as her friend Taylor. It's a little bit regret to see the reality now. But I hope this is not the ending Hailee will get. I hope someday she can get big again.

I love Hailee’s voice but I’m not a huge fan of most of her songs. If she were to do a different genre or style I think she could be huge. As for Zendaya I honestly prefer her as a singer. I think she’s really talented and am personally not a fan of her acting. That’s just me though!

Gosh I feel sad that Bridget mendler was low key robbed from a successful music career, she could’ve been in the same alt-pop/indie-pop lane with Lana del rey and lorde from the early 2010s if she didn’t sign with Hollywood records. Hollywood records as a whole isn’t a real record label they were only built for a formula from the 2000s of modeling triple threat Disney teen idols starting with Hilary duff and reaching their peak with miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi lovato and the Jonas brothers towards the end of the 2000s decade. Once that era of music ended with social media and music (as movies and TV shows) for teens becoming more darker and experimental, Hollywood records died out bc they couldn’t keep with the times, if you look at who’s signed to them it’s less than 5 artists and they are completely under the radar, their most successful releases are soundtracks to popular Disney musicals/movies (black panther soundtrack, Enchanto) but thankfully coco Jones, Sabrina carpenter and dove Cameron after leaving them have been thriving in the music industry
I agree with all of this! however I do want to point out Dove was never signed to Hollywood Records,she'd been signed to Columbia Records since the beginning of her solo career so her being underrated in the beginning wasn't actually Disney's fault
@@awhimsyreader9015 ohh thank for the correction I think I mistaken her previously being signed to Hollywood records bc before she broke out last year with boyfriend her most well known songs were from Disney soundtrack albums all of which were distributed by both Hollywood records and Walt Disney records

She can't sing? Her first album's debut single charted on Billboard. She most certainly did a good job on the season 1 finale of Euphoria. Her duet with Zac Efron from the Greatest Showman was a hot too. In fact, a few of her projects thus far have used her musical talents.
