Came for the dog. Was not disappointed
That exhaust kitis set up so that if you decide that you want to use it as a straight pipe setup without the muffler you can just delete the muffler and it will fit the extended cab truck. If you choose to use the muffler after all the kit allows you to shorten the pipe to the proper length.
Thanks Joe for watching and commenting. I figured that out after the fact. I am not that smart. I went ahead and kept the muffler on but might delete at a later date. Thanks again.
You definitely deserve way more subs. Keep up the good content
Enthuzst28 thanks for the compliment. Really enjoy putting content out for others to see. Thanks for reaching out.
Take inner fender off makes everything so much easier it’s only a few bolts
In the past 4 years the links for the exhaust have stopped working any way I can get the model numbers?
I mentioned in one of my comments earlier to get the crossover pipe.... I didnt see this video. Sorry bout that. But if I may make a suggestion.... even though your saying there is a K&N filter in there..... that style of filter is a huge pinch point for the Truck to breath. I would highly recommend getting the S&B Filter and Filter housing. This plus the new QuadStar upper intake will let that baby Breath free! Because the way it now you can think of it as a hose. On this hose in the middle its being pinched so that beautiful exhaust isnt getting its Max potential. Hope that helps Partner.
My old dog name was moose he was a massive black lab.
Looking at doing this to my 97 C3500 with 138,000 miles on it. Was it necessary to change out the crossover pipe? I really don't want to chance the possibility of up to 6 bolts breaking off for something that really doesn't make a whole lot of difference. The exhaust system seems to otherwise be fairly easy to do and the benefit of lower egt's will help when pulling a load.
I would agree with your thoughts. The crossover pipe is larger than the stock one but not by much. I did it just because I wanted to see the difference in a complete system. But, I would be 50/50 on the actual crossover pipe being installed. I could see it helping but also could see the argument of not helping a ton. Hope this helps and I know you won’t regret doing the exhaust. Thanks for watching.
Came here for moose. You get my sub;)
Do you need a different down pipe for the 4” exhaust to work? I have the stock down pipe and want to buy a 4” exhaust for my truck
My recollection is that you can use the stock downpipe. The aftermarket is not so much larger as it is straighter with less bends. And then you have to decide if you want the larger crosspipe. That is the difference in the kits, with crosspipe or without. Thanks for watching.
What size lift do you have? Looks so good
What tires are you running?
Jose, sorry for the late response on this. Just did not see it come through the first time. I am running

Slippers ? Come on !
Ha!! You caught that!! Yes, I had an unfortunate accident with a Reciprocating Saw and my Achilles Tendon about a week ago. Sounds like a horror movie, hurt about as bad but was fairly superficial. But, wearing any kind of shoe other than sandals not very comfortable until healed up. And yes my socks have burn holes from welding in them also. Not the smartest move on my part but "the show must go on" as they say.
How did your heel heal...moose heal ... sorry to hear about that's a big injury!
