- Dave Hause war vor kurzem in unserem geliebten Ramones Museum. Als Support begleitete er seine Freunde von The Gaslight Anthem auf Tour und ließ es sich nicht nehmen, ebenso wie Brian Fallon, dem Punk-Museum in der Krausnickstrasse einen Besuch abzustatten. Und darüber waren viele der Besucher höchst erfreut, denn das Museum war mehr als gut gefüllt mit erstaunlich textsicherem Publikum. Und obwohl der Amerikaner kurz nach seiner Stippvisite im Ramones Museum schleunigst verschwinden musste, um in der ausverkauften Columbiahalle auf der Bühne zu stehen und Gaslight Anthem zu supporten, spielte er eine volle Stunde gefüllt mit Songs aus seinem Soloprojekt und von seiner Band "The Loved Ones". Auch ein Alkaline Trio Cover fügte sich wunderbar ins Set ein. Zwischen den Songs präsentierte sich Dave als der Kumpel, den man gerne jeden Tag um sich hätte. Er sparte nicht mit witzigen Anknoten, verschenkte Gästelistenplätze für die abendliche Show und erfüllte so gut es ging alle Songwünsche. Had the pleasure to visit the Ramones museum this summer. It's soooo tiny in reality. Amazing they all squeezed in there. Great place!
Holy shit, when he hits the bridge in Blue in the Face.. Woahhh. He's good at Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music's Bleeder was amazing.

No doubt. This ¨Blue in th face¨ version is muuuch better than Skiba's.
I mean yeah, its better. But Skiba wrote the song. Its like arguing about beatles covers are better than the original songs. Its just simply doesnt matter.
