Buy anything from bracelets to guitars. Food galore, even sample to local wines & rums.
It is situated at the end of the main street in Lamai. Thailand bargains at its best.
I would suggest going early to avoid the crowds as the streets are very narrow.

Thanks Geoff, we just stayed in Lamai Beach. We were 5 minutes walk from Night Market. I had 2 lots of that fresh Sushi. "Thai House Beach Resort" was a great small resort if anyone wants good value for money accommodation.

Been there a few times! Great night out as long as you get there early, get some food and plant yourself down with a good drink and watch the world go by!

Wow Geoff, fantastic looking market there!! I mean of course it's similar to most of the markets around Thailand, but I think there's something a bit different with those only Sunday night kind of markets! And it's still fun to look around anyway, you never know what kind of treasure you can find!! All that food looks so delicious, I miss the ease of Thai street food! Excellent vlog once again Geoff, thank you as always for sharing your adventure!!!

I still have a house there. I still live in Thailand after 20 years and in Nakhon Sawan in the middle of Thailand with my Thai wife after from moving from Boulder, CO.
Absolutely brill. When you go to Chaweng you must visit the food market there theres lots to eat and very cheap too..... Looks like the tan is coming on too :-)

Another great and educational video. I haven't been to Koh Samui since 2007, its paradise though. Beautiful beaches, beautiful and friendly people and the bars are great craic. This is more my idea of Thailand. No disrespect to Bangkok or Pattaya, but they are too crazy for me, I like a nice chilled atmosphere where the tourists custom is valued rather than taken for granted. Next time I go back, I may just spend my two weeks in Koh Samui. I keep travelling thinking that I'll find the perfect part of Thailand, but I already have... back in 2007.
