Underestimating a soldier's intelligence is a big no no. To be a soldier you need to think fast and adapt in any situation.

In Kargil Indian soldiers buried Pakistani soldiers with respect after their death because the soldier wasn't the enemy, it was the people ordering him to attack. That's why if the King is dead, the war is over but the war keeps going on even if hundreds of soldiers are dead because their death means nothing to the other side, because they aren't the real enemy.

The selection process for military is usually very hard in most countries and it involves a written test too. Plus after that, actual military work definitely involves a lot of mental and physical heavy weight-lifting. So for me, no surprise that Tyler is an intellectual.
And if they knew anything about the military, they would know being a Marine doesn't tell you anything about his intelligence. He could be in a highly technical field like crypt analytics or weapons systems maintenance.

Those iq test results are extremely high, i don't know if they have been chosen with a certain logic behind but, if not, it's statistically very unlikely that the lowest result is in the highest range for average. I think the iq test they took is quite overestimating thsir results, unless these people were chosen by someone who already knew they are smart

I might be wrong, but I think to get am actual result of IQ test you need to get tested by someone with expierience in psychology, and not by the computer. At least that's what I've heard from someone studying psychology, so it might be opinion and not a fact. In a full video the Asian dude even said, that someone who did more of those internet tests, might get better result. You are not supposed to LEARN how to be intilligent. Many IQ tests in the internet are flawed simply for that reason.
