i hope so especially since he or she or thyselfs making me laugh. know what i mean human! behavior us humans! motivated irrational behavior is why of today's world. is everybody getting it now!?..
Cockatoos absolutely LOVE arguing about nonsense. To those who don't understand why it is due to cockatoos craving the attention and engagement in the argument. These birds require a ton of interaction and they will scream and throw tantrums until you pay attention to them.
Kellan Larson yeah! I love parrots, especially cockatoos. Due to my research, they are a total attention cravers who pretty much screams and argues for just for the sake of it lol
Absolutely. And to underscore that fact, they are proud of their behavior and the way they have ruined this beautiful creature. I hope they don't have kids - can you imagine what they would be like, listening to this kind of talk and witnessing this kind of disrespect all day long?
Bill Clark learn the word 'fun' birds copy the easiest sounds to them. And fuck is a common word by birds no matter how many words they have been taught. They choose to curse because it sounds cool to them and it's easier. I know because I had a red capped conure that came from an abusive home

Even if he was simply mimicking your family-doesnt matter, it's funny & it's apparent the bird is cared for, comfortable & quite satisfied "putting you in your place"..made me smile & repeat play sev times. thnx for the laffs, buddy..livelong

Sheri E. they are not cheap his is an umbrella which is usually the least expensive and most colorful as shown in this video. the other thing about them is they require a lot of attention.. A bird is not like a dog where you can leave them outside alone for a couple hours a day. if they do not get a good amount of attention/playtime they can be very self destructive But if you have the time for them they are very loving birds. If your looking for your 1st bird I would start with a cockatiel. I have 2 of them and they are great little birds with a lot of love to give. my white face is pushing 15 years old and the other one is 4. I also just got myself a macaw which is considerably larger they don't require the attention a cockatoo needs but they still require a good amount
This bird is NOT angry! He is a joyful bird having fun. If he were angry, Furman would have had his face laid open to the bone and probably would have lost an eye. Cockatoos have the most devastating bite of all of the parrot species. The bird has no idea it is "swearing", it is repeating noises it learned from a previous owner. At :34 he is seen puffing the feathers around his beak; this is a friendly gesture by a cockatoo to reassure that they are not going to bite. Now, I see many people here saying they now want a cockatoo. I beg you to do REAL research before buying a cockatoo. Ccoaktoos are expensive. Their toys are expensive. Their food is expensive. Their cages are VERY expensive. Cockatoos require your TIME. They need to be OUT of their cages for most of the day. On top of the cage, on playpens, perches, etc. If you think you can buy a 'Too and just take it out of the cage for an hour or two a day, you WILL wind up with a vicious, depressed bird that may become a chronic screamer or feather plucker and that WILL bite. They have to be out most of the day so be warned they are incredibly destructive. They are incredibly messy birds. And a Cockatoo is excruciatingly loud. Yes, they are adorable, wonderful, cuddly, and funny creatures. But they are NOT for everyone. Just sayin'. Peace.
Rebecca Coomes SOOOOO true..... and this isn’t even half of it! Their veterinarians are VERY VERY VERY expensive because they need to see a specialist for exotics.... and then theirs the long list of restrictions you can never do in your home ever again once you have a parrot. Like burning candles? Oh well. You can’t anymore. Is your cookware Teflon? Gotta toss that, the fumes can kill birds. Hope your not a smoker, of any kind.... do you like hot and humid temperatures? Now you do. They need an atmosphere that mimics their natural habitats, which are mainly rainforests. Better break out the humidifier! Keep the thermostat cranked up to 80. Be prepared to spend a small fortune on fresh fruits and vegetables because parrots need a lot of them! Hope you have a spare bedroom. If not, you better start house hunting because they really do require their own bedroom! Oh, and if you get snowy winters, that bedroom better be on the inside of the house, so the bird doesn’t get any kind of drafts! Do you like traveling or going on vacation? You better get it all out of your system before getting a bird because they demand and require the majority of your time, cannot be left alone for long periods of time, and probably won’t like your mother in law who comes over everyday to feed and clean their cage. Most parrots are singular animals, meaning they take to one person and one person only. So if you have young children, a bird is probably not the right fit. Speaking of owners, this singular behavior holds true even if you end up having to re-home your parrot years down the road for whatever reason (they live incredibly long lives 40-80 years) so chances are, its going to out live you. If you re-home your bird, it may NEVER take to the new owner.....which is incredibly sad when you think about it. The bird will spend the rest of its life being hostile towards its new owners, wondering why his “mom or dad” abandoned them. Birds are very intellectual creatures. They need stimulation on a daily basis, for hours at a time. If you cannot give any of these things to a bird, don’t get one! I cannot stress this enough! Birds are best left for the true passionate bird enthusiasts, and professional bird handlers. You do not go out and decide you want a parrot on a whim! You also should have everything you need prior to even going and looking at birds!! So this would include cages, pitches for other rooms, shower pirch ( did I mention birds love taking showers) food bowls, water dishes, cleaning supplies, bedding, cover for cage at night, space heater for chilly nights, food, fruits and veggies, treats, pure fruit juice, and start looking for a vet now! They are not easy to come by! I live in a moderately-expensive city (average cost of living) and we only have 1 exotic bird specialist in the whole area. She charges about $350 JUST TO WALK IN THE DOOR!!! this doesn’t include exams, tests, medicines if needed, etc. birds are an ENORMOUS responsibility. I urge you to take time and really think things through before making the plunge. If you have the means to afford one, then by all means do it! It’ll be a life-altering experience! Birds are the best ❤️
Yeah they’re truly beautiful, unique, intelligent animals, that swarm in their thousands around my town, in spring & summer, striping cars of any rubber they can peel, destroying every garden, crapping over everything, screeching, all night & generally behaving like a group of delinquents. They make up for their behaviour by being observed hanging upside down, from power lines , when it rains & spinning them self, over & over, until they get so dizzy they fall, they do it by the hundreds Just to amuse themselves. Truly unique animals & I’m privileged to share my home with them. Fkn ‘straya mate !
I disagree on that, cockatoos can live until 80 years old. They also get bounded to a specific individual during their lifetime and was that person about to leave abruptly, the cockatoo will suffer terrible emotional pain ; bird’s equivalent to depressive state which often results in self-harm (plucking). Sadly this condition is sometimes irrecoverable and the bird will live in pain for the rest of its life.
@@corrupt7072 Yes it's a joke but there are people who will actually go out and buy a parrot because they want a toy pet who will say funny swear words. Then eventually they get sick of it because they didn't realize how much of a responsibility they are, put it up for adoption, and now there's a loud swearing bird without a forever home, jumping between homes because people get put off by all the swearing, which puts the parrot through a lot of needless suffering. Pebble the cockatoo (popular on CZcams) had been through 10 homes before finally getting lucky with a caring owner who loves her for life, despite how much aggressive yelling and swearing she picked up when she was young. Not every parrot is that lucky. Hell, even if you do vow to love and keep the parrot for life with all its profanities, parrots can live a long time and if you die before your parrot dies, or for some reason you aren't able to keep it anymore and are forced to put it up for adoption, the parrot will be in the same awful situation.
I have an umbrella cockatoo who loves to argue and I have tourette's where you swear... It can be a real mess at times lmao but there is never a dull moment at my house
Aww, she was so angry she wouldn't even give a kiss. Really, that bird is intriguingly intelligent. I think it could tell that the other "family members" were reacting positively to its antics all the time.
To answer some. Hello to all of you, everywhere in the world. Glad you enjoy Baby, he is still doing well. I can not translate for any of you because I am not bi-lingual. I think he speaks french, maybe australian or swedish. If any one knows fill us all in. And I can give you the name of the best earplugs.
Furman Campbell Love this!! I grew up with parrots. My parents still have 4. We lost our blue front amazon after 35 years on thanksgiving. There is no greater gift than living with these amazing birds.
Furman Campbell As a french myself , I can ensure you he's not blabbering in french . I tought he was imitating your wife when she's yelling at you ahaha
My cockatoo just passed away a couple days ago due to kidney failure, I miss her so much. She was literally my best friend and one of the best things to ever come into our lives. I'd do anything just to have her back.
Awww that really makes me miss my Umbrella Cockatoo. She used to answer the phone for us. Whenever it rang she'd say "Hello?" And then keep blabbing a bunch of nonsense until we hung up. She used to love cuddling too. Great birds cockatoos. But messy beyond belief. And don't forget that they KEEP talking, even when you're done, or sometime before you've even started.
To the people complaining, these birds like shouting and communicating, that's why owners argue back. Birds do this in the wild and to the people saying you shouldn't swear in front of a bird is ridiculous! :P
I love it! I would first be shocked and then start laughing because I realize that things get put into the bird's mind many ways. I have a parrot and I guess I would imagine that one day it will yell or say a swear word but I think birds are so funny because of incidents like these
Hayley Lightcap He wasn't swearing in front of the bird, and there's not really any way to discipline it to teach it that those words are wrong, since they wouldn't understand, unlike dogs, and to some extent, cats, which are more pack/pride oriented and have the instinct to follow their leader's orders. The best thing is to just humor them, or if you don't like the swearing, don't respond, and maybe it'll learn that those words won't get it any attention.
When I worked in avian rescue, we had several birds who swore and yelled like this. It's kind of sad because it tells you something about the environment they came from. Good to see this little guy has a loving family, despite his dirty beak :-)
when she got in his face and yelled "Shut the f@ck up!" it kind of broke my heart. Surely her previous owners screamed that at her cage whenever she got noisy.
The bird told him ' Go F**k Yourself.' Birds is P***ed Off . 🤣🤣🤣 Gotta watch what you say around them - intelligence of a small human child and they throw tantrums on purpose to boot. LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This bird is totally NOT angry. If the bird had been angry at that man, that man would have had his face ripped open to the bone. Cockatoos have the most devastating bite of any parrot species. This bird was in a good mood and having a good time.
I went to a pet store and walked up to a cockatoo having a meal on top of his cage. The whole time I was there all I could manage was a little pet on his tail. The huge beaks are really intimidating lol.
NOBODY should consider getting one of these birds because they think they are cute in these vids. They are excruciatingly loud, destructive, incredibly messy, their food is expensive, their toys are exensive, their cages are VERY expensive, they demand your TIME, and lots of it or they WILL TURN MEAN. You CANNOT leave these birds sitting in a cage all day and take it out to play with it once a day for an hour or two. You'll wind up with a vicious, depressed bird that rips it's own feathers out and who will BITE. These birds are awesome but they are a huge commitment.
Don't feed the trolls. This mans affection for his bird is clear as day and that's nuff said. Just enjoy how adorable the interaction is between them and how well the bird responds to its flock member. True love there, especially at the end when he gets his cuddles!! As one who has owned birds I can say that they each have personalities and interact with their flock in different ways. My best baby would fuss with me for hours but it was just his way of talking to me. Twittering and squawking, and how i enjoyed it! Just as he would preen me and I would massage his head. I miss him so much, this video reminds me of my fluffy baby! Thanks for sharing!
Cute. It's pretty clear that you two are playing around. Yelling like this is a flock-bonding behavior that all cockatoos do - imitating tones and occasional phrases.
I've watched this a half dozen times and every time I laugh so hard there are tears streaming from my eyes. It's like a little man with huge attitude telling his dad off.
For Godsake people, it just a nice talking parrot. The owner spent a thousand of dollars, and he is having full rights to teach this parrot the way he wants. That Bird is awesome
***** Aye, they are. I'd really like one of those but i've heard they are quite hard to care for and need a lot of room and time. :/ Don't think i'd have the resources to give one a good home. Ofc i'd like to adopt one that needs a home. :)
Another point for people to know is , if you look at the bird at 0:34 seconds, she is fluffing her face feathers around her beak This is a Cockatoos way of reassuring someone that they mean no harm, kind of like, "Look how sweet I am, I don't even have a beak."
+Tyler. On the bright side, children usually dont bite your fingers off. When cacas bite, they dont hold back and with complex feelings they can bite for strange reasons. For example if it perceived its being made fun of even if its not etc.
Lobos222 - Oh, I’m not getting one. I’ll watch these videos from afar. My kids are old enough to feed themselves, so I’m not about to start over with a “toddler bird”. However, some kids tantrums can be quite aggressive. Just saying.
This bird is adorable. I love it's voice and if it was mine I would be very proud indeed. I think it's cool that Baby can hold an argument and has a close bond with Furman.
hahah xD. this breed of cockatoo LOVE to argue and shout, its part of what they do xD. theyre.not being harmed or distressed, they just enjoy having an argument/shouting match over anything and everything with anyone and everyone! xD
The day I found out that cockatoos love to argue is the day my life became complete XD I love them, but I don't think I could care for a bird that big. ^^; I have two elderly cockatiels though, 15 years and they're still kicking and spoiled as ever XD
undertheblade1 I adore Cockatoos, but I don't have enough time for birds with their level of intelligence, the poor things would be very unhappy in my care so I don't really see point in buying one if I can't care for it properly.
Vicki Casanova Cockatiels have much shorter life spans than cockatoos, so a 15-year-old cockatiel is pretty old, but you're right that a 15-year-old cockatoo is still young.
It sounds kind of cute at first, but if I had to listen to the loud squawks, curses, and unrecognizable sounds all day, every day, I might go even more insane than the bird.
Birds like loud noises and respond to excitement, and are very sensitive to emotion. This bird is probably having the time of their life right now, being loud with the human friends! They're definitely not upset -- an upset umbrella cockatoo would have the crest out sideways (not just up), feathers raised on the neck, wings and chest, wings out and lowered, and -- more to the point -- would have bitten someone by now.
ara macao You are right. If this Cockatoo were mad, the poor man would have a good bite right in the face. You can cleary see that Baby is really happy and enjoying giving her family a show :) And she turns all cuddly after being loud :P
This is one of the cutest videos I've seen on CZcams. The bird is clearly enjoying his/her self and trusts the man completely (shoulder sitting, given the proximity to mouth/teeth, a near universally recognized source of potential danger by all animals, requires real trust between the two individuals). If the bird was even a little frightened, it wouldn't be anywhere near the man's face. Further, if the bird was at all upset / angry, he or she would have very little problem communicating it with that powerful beak. This being the case and the number of other videos with "argumentative" Umbrella Cockatoos, I suspect this is entirely normal behaviour for the species. In fact, given the enthusiasm, the bird is probably actually having a lot of fun.
I love this My stuborn grey argues with me too and it makes me laugh so hard then my bird starts laughin at me then i cant breath laughing so hard then my bird mimics me trying to catch my breath ... cant buy this entertainment it only comes from happy loved and well cared for birds....yours is a happy bird :) I have watched this one a few times this last year and hope you keep it up.. wanna see this again and again Thanks for sharing
There are 2 things I don't understand. 1. People who don't read the description before commenting & judging him so harshly. Don't they know that reading it would have greatly helped them keep a foot out of their mouths? 2. People who click on a video with the title "Baby the ultimate SWEARING Umbrella Cockatoo" and then complain about the swear words. I don't know, maybe they click thinking they will hear her swearing an oath of office...nah, that can't be it.
This bird is having the time of his life. He’s not angry just having fun

Hell, even if you do vow to love and keep the parrot for life with all its profanities, parrots can live a long time and if you die before your parrot dies, or for some reason you aren't able to keep it anymore and are forced to put it up for adoption, the parrot will be in the same awful situation.
The moment the bird said "Shut the F-up!" I lost it. 🤣
I guess you can say that bird was getting... Cocky

Owning one of these birds is like having a 3 year old with Tourettes for 80 years!!!
I have an umbrella cockatoo who loves to argue and I have tourette's where you swear... It can be a real mess at times lmao but there is never a dull moment at my house

Lived up to his name in the end
Aww, she was so angry she wouldn't even give a kiss.
Really, that bird is intriguingly intelligent. I think it could tell that the other "family members" were reacting positively to its antics all the time.
Absolutely hilarious 😂 She has no problem telling him what she thinks ❤️❤️ absolutely beautiful
2:35 "I do what the FUCK I want!!!"
She sounds like an angry teenage girl 😍😂

Olivia Janine i dont know because i dont have one.😞😂
I think your bird loves you! He knows he can get away with it!
Can we have some more vids of Baby pls??
This clip of Baby comes in very handy after a rough day at work. It's pretty much what I want to say to everyone there, but I need my job - LOL.
+3uriel3 I have to agree - Baby sounds like an irate wife or girlfriend having a hissy fit :)
sounds like me arguing with my sister lmao
Kenneth Bryant HAHAHAHAHA OML NO. I didn't thought that doe, That's a good point of view but no 😂
Jessie Vasquez Traducciones XD
Coco Díaz Traducciones instead of me arguing with my sister i argu with my brother.😆
It does sound like arguing
My cockatoo just passed away a couple days ago due to kidney failure, I miss her so much. She was literally my best friend and one of the best things to ever come into our lives. I'd do anything just to have her back.
"Let me speak to your manager!" -Parrot
lolllllllllllllllll
😄😄😁😁😆😅😅🤣
Awww that really makes me miss my Umbrella Cockatoo. She used to answer the phone for us. Whenever it rang she'd say "Hello?" And then keep blabbing a bunch of nonsense until we hung up. She used to love cuddling too. Great birds cockatoos. But messy beyond belief. And don't forget that they KEEP talking, even when you're done, or sometime before you've even started.
Love this! Him and his owner have a fabulous bond ❤❤❤
"Stfu!!" *gasps for air in anger* Swear this bird would make a great actor. 😂😂
The parrot looks like it has a lot of fun swearing like a sailor.
To the people complaining, these birds like shouting and communicating, that's why owners argue back. Birds do this in the wild and to the people saying you shouldn't swear in front of a bird is ridiculous! :P
Ethan Gordon idk hearing that bird makes me think that u shouldnt curse in front of birds
G
Hayley Lightcap haha XD I'm sure if more animals could express themselves they would say much worse stuff ;)
Even if that's the case you should be happy that it has a new owner.
The bird told him ' Go F**k Yourself.'
Birds is P***ed Off . 🤣🤣🤣 Gotta watch what you say around them - intelligence of a small human child and they throw tantrums on purpose to boot. LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agree with that. Birds will repeat what we say.
I love how he goes for a cuddle as if he wasn't just throwing a tantrum 10 seconds ago!
I love that this bird is just like "I CAN MAKE LOUD NOISES TOO. LET US MAKE LOUD NOISES TOGETHER."
The emotional frustration from this one huh? The exacerbations. The drama and the fan tail and hood spread. Just hysterical 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:04 amazes me everytime
+jeremie johnson SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Akeem Vaughns
Me too. Was awesome hearing that from Baby.
that bird must've played far cry 3
The bird definitely said “STFU!!!”
2:06 "SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!"
Lol
+iko dino (SpringLock) LMAO
This bird makes life worth living.
OMG.... "Don't treat me like a pet, I'm not your pet and STFU". 😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️
I love this video so much. These birds have such an attitude, haha.
Cute. It's pretty clear that you two are playing around. Yelling like this is a flock-bonding behavior that all cockatoos do - imitating tones and occasional phrases.
Thank you. I'm a little confused about all these people thinking the bird has been abused. Not necessarily so.
I've watched this a half dozen times and every time I laugh so hard there are tears streaming from my eyes. It's like a little man with huge attitude telling his dad off.
Same! 😂😂😂
For Godsake people, it just a nice talking parrot. The owner spent a thousand of dollars, and he is having full rights to teach this parrot the way he wants. That Bird is awesome
I watched this 3 hours ago and im still laughing my ass off
Thanks for sending me this man
Brian Hill yeah no problem dude, are you on youtube now
Yes I am why
Brian Hill there's a bird with atitude
I know really
That is one pissed off cockatoo...
Although it is actually happy :p
I know, right
I can't tell what he's ranting about but he sure means it
I wish I had a bird like that lmfao and every time when he swears I liked how her opened his wings and shouted that was so dramatic XD
I always wondered why they did that. Thanks.
This is hilarious because it sounds like a parent arguing with a teenager, LOL!
I swear, their tantrums are so much cuter than my kids though. I’m dying laughing.
I can't stop laughing...that bird is a hoot.
"what else are you going to make me do?"
"I dont give a FUCK what you do!"
Its like the bird actaully understood the context of what the man was saying :D thats so cool
This never gets old. I listen to these beautiful birds everyday. They have personalities all their own and they are a riot. Thank you Babe!.
every workplace needs a bird like this to lighten the mood
This bird is adorable. I love it's voice and if it was mine I would be very proud indeed. I think it's cool that Baby can hold an argument and has a close bond with Furman.
2:18: "And now shut the **** up!!!!" 😂
He knows deep down you love him. ❤❤❤❤
hahah xD.
this breed of cockatoo LOVE to argue and shout, its part of what they do xD.
theyre.not being harmed or distressed, they just enjoy having an argument/shouting match over anything and everything with anyone and everyone! xD
I want one now 💕💕💕
What a beautiful bird, umbrella cockatoos are freaking awesome!
what adorable parrot....nice interacting with him.... he is so funny ....
The next time a troll tries to argue with me I will send this bird over 😂
3:00 "C'mere, have a conversation with me."
"I don't fuckin' want to."
The day I found out that cockatoos love to argue is the day my life became complete XD I love them, but I don't think I could care for a bird that big. ^^; I have two elderly cockatiels though, 15 years and they're still kicking and spoiled as ever XD
cockatoos can like upto 100 to 150 yrs human yrs dude and they are the best bird to ever own
undertheblade1 I adore Cockatoos, but I don't have enough time for birds with their level of intelligence, the poor things would be very unhappy in my care so I don't really see point in buying one if I can't care for it properly.
They live to be about 70, not 150, but that still makes your 15 year old birds very young. :)
Vicki Casanova They can live to be 225 years old. We have one in out family that my great-great-great grandmother bought. He's still a baby.
What a funny bird 🐦 you can tell he loves his owner.❤🎉❤
"I don't care what you fucking do!" (I already had to clean up the floor)..
WACKA WACKA WACKA FLOCKA FLAME
oh my, I had no idea they had such big personalities, it must be like having another person around, so very funny and entertaining.
No it's the owner that has to do with this!.. shame for the bird... reported!
I think that bird realizes it’s getting good attention from all of the swearing, and continues to do it. Lol.
Your bird needs to see a therapist.
Hahaha. You better hope he doesn't read this
I found this video a few years ago-lost count of how many times I’ve watched it. It’s just so damn funny 😂😆🤣
I love this
My stuborn grey argues with me too and it makes me laugh so hard then my bird starts laughin at me then i cant breath laughing so hard then my bird mimics me trying to catch my breath ... cant buy this entertainment it only comes from happy loved and well cared for birds....yours is a happy bird :)
I have watched this one a few times this last year and hope you keep it up.. wanna see this again and again
Thanks for sharing
2:06 "SHUT THE FUCK UP"😂
Finally a camera men who can actually keep the camera straight
Pebbles and this bird could have great freakouts together
this is my mom when she argues with me about cleaning my room
Haven Ferrer ...hilarious!
My favorite thing is that it doesn't just mimic the words, it mimics the way it's said. Pacing angrily and raising its arms in emphasis of the 'FUCK'
That bird said STFUUUUU 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
