Yes! I agree! I just checked this out and I already love her and her channel lol! Thank you beautiful!! *subscribed 💓🥰💁🏾♀️ you did your thing!! Perfect
For maintenance and to help "lay flat" after a cute style of wearing it up...just braid your hair in about 6-8;sections at night. Take them down in the morning and voila! It also help with defining the curly tendrils.
Hey, tip for braids when you wear it up and they just, stay there😂😂 I’ve been putting on a scarf and tying it like a durag (I guess you can just buy a durag but I don’t have one so😂) and wear it like that over night and my braids have been able to lay back down flat. It works about 90% of the time. That 10% of the time they don’t or they still look crinkly, I’ll spray them with water and put on a bit of the moisturizer I used to braid, hang duck-bill clips on the ends of my hair and then tie the scarf on, keep it on until it dries or overnight and they lay flat. Not sure if it’ll work for everyone but it’s worked for me so far👌🏽
You are one of the 1st to actually post a video of the take down. I have literally been waiting for someone to post something like this before trying it.
Very pretty!! I will have to start doing this natural style and keeping it in for weeks at a time, best way to stay out of your hair and prevent breakage!! 🤍🤍
"We can't do that" lol period.😩 But the beauty in it is that we get to groom ourselves & we get to understand how patient & gentle we are & have to be with ourselves because of our crown. There is beauty in our strength .. and struggle 😩♥️🤞🏾 And all of our melanated textures are beautiful & strong.
HI! My recommendation is a clear gel like wet line extreme OR a Long Aid Curl Activator Hair Styling Gel Extra Dry, 15oz ( it works on natural hair and it has a glycerine base so it seals in moisture no flakes.)
Hi Hun I am natural also. All I use for my edges is aloe vera gel. No flakes, no stiff. Get the one with no alcohol. It's the bomb 🤎🤎🤎. Love your videos .
I appreciate this video more then the install!!!! I plan to do this style this week for my bday on Sunday!! Thank you for this!! 🖤🖤🖤 And PLEASE do this with twists!!!
Hey new to your channel - I’m loving this style and plan to do it for when I go away this month. I’m definitely items doing slightly larger braids… my fine hair is not appreciative of tiny braids. I love the way your hair came out. Honestly no braid and twist styles stay looking the same as day one. Thanks for doing an update. Your hair is really so cute!!! Looks like a day one to me
I subbed because I love your attention to detail and dedication to provide an update. You rock! I'm trying this style right now. Love and light to you and yours. 💜💜💜
Would love to see you try this with a twist out. I had the same thoughts and would love to see you have a go. ! Hope you do try it and share the results!
that style looks really pretty on you. please try with twist next. I want to be my next go to style with the twist version mostly. How long did the takedown actually take?
Tip: The way to get rid of the crease after having it up is to spray it with water. Right in the area that’s dry and bent and it’ll relax the crease. Beautiful job and gorgeous braids ❤️🌹🥰
That's another option. You definitely could, but personally, I wouldn't just because I wanted more of a natural curl rather than a formed curl with a rod.
I did this style watching your video my ends I had to use rods to get it to curl up and then it became curled too tight smh but I took it down after a week but I think it would work better for my damaged 4c hair if I try again with a curling custard or gel
@@lanasymone I noticed it, too. Sorry for your loss. Those were all the rage in the late 1980s-early 90s. I was wondering if it had been your mom's as I never see those anymore. I think I used to have the exact same one. It does look exactly like the one I had. I ended up selling all of my gold jewelry from that era because I never wore it in later years. Anyway, the hairstyle was really cute on you. Will eventually try it myself.
I want to try this "boho" version of natural mini braids , but I have a feeling loose pieces of my hair won't behave.. I put in some mini braids a few days ago & am thinking about adding human hair curly pieces with a crochet tool ; that's what I'm looking for a video of , but can't seem to find one of that particular combination
Oh my gosh an actual update! Not many naturals give the after and upkeep results. I'm in the right place! 😭😭
Yesss ma'am, You know I got y'all! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yes! I agree! I just checked this out and I already love her and her channel lol! Thank you beautiful!! *subscribed 💓🥰💁🏾♀️ you did your thing!! Perfect

Quick tip: if you use Ampro Pro Styl Curl Enhancer Gel Activator. It keeps your hair moisturized and all you have to do is spray water on the curls
I also love the definition of the curls with take down!✨
they still looked fresh by the time you were taking them down
Yep, I’m doing this tonighttttt. It’s so cute! And thanks for the update!! ❣️☺️
I love this hair style and it still look good when the weekend came I agree she could wear that hair longer for real.
You are one of the 1st to actually post a video of the take down. I have literally been waiting for someone to post something like this before trying it.
Omg thanks for the update. Your hair looks great still
Definitely about to do these in my 3year old hair well almost 4 (2days) bc I’m doing these as her bday back to school look

I used The Doux Mouse to define my curly pieces and I got no flaking at all. I had mine in for about a month.
That’s awesome! Is that the only product you used overall?
@@aishasmith8500 well, I tried to use the black top Eco style gel and it didn't work to make the curls pop. So I tried The Doux and it worked so well!
Please try this with twists, that’s what I want to try!
Pure inspiration!!! I’m doing this hairstyle ASAP! Thank you for the demonstration & hope 😁💕
Yes ma'am! Go for it 🙌🏾🙌🏾
It still looks good!!! This is one of my favorite hairstyles you’ve done!!🤎✨
Thank you ❤❤❤
Amazing ! The braids look so good on you!
Thank you! 💜
I’m going to try this on my hair for sure

Giiiiiirl I can’t say it enough! I loved this style on you!
Thank you so much! 💜💜
Omg it’s so beautiful and perfect 😢❤
Lol I would’ve rocked the take down for at least a day, cute style ❤
Thanks for this video you are beautiful btw!!!! I did this style on myself and it looks bomb!
Yesssss I'm happy to hear it!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
And thank youuu 💖💖

Came out amazing!
U killed this hair style for real for real.
Thank you 💖💖
I want to give synthethic braids a rest so this is a great style for me.
I'm a new subscriber and I live and appreciate your video 🌹
I subbed because I love your attention to detail and dedication to provide an update. You rock! I'm trying this style right now.
Love and light to you and yours. 💜💜💜
Thank you so much! and WELCOME! Happy to have you here 💜💜💜
Would love to see you try this
with a twist out. I had the same thoughts and would love to see you have a go. ! Hope you do try it and share the results!
That might be the next style! 🤔
The after was cute. I wouldve definately waited and rocked it for a day before washing it. Ive done that several times before
What a beauty you are....curliana....lolololol...love the energy.....subbing
This is great hun❤️❤️
Thank you ❤
You can try them with twists! I did
You could have tied a silk or satin scarf on your head it will have flattened out the curvy parts the refreshes the curls
@alana Simone take down always use a rat tsil comb. Pro tip
Everything 🔥
It's🔥 love it!
Thank you!
that style looks really pretty on you. please try with twist next. I want to be my next go to style with the twist version mostly. How long did the takedown actually take?
Thank you! I mentioned in the video that it only took one hour 😊
I washed mine with conditioner and hot water to help out with the braids themselves.
Tip: The way to get rid of the crease after having it up is to spray it with water. Right in the area that’s dry and bent and it’ll relax the crease.
Beautiful job and gorgeous braids ❤️🌹🥰
I wet my braids a bit with spray and lay it down in the style I want
Have you tried Wet Line XTreme gel? My wash and go doesn’t flake with wet line gel.
I hope u try them in twist 😊
I just very slightly spray it with water and put a light blow dry on it whilst holding it down and then it stays down 😊
The high ponytail always make the braids rise or have a bend. In place one won’t like. Better to wear high pony. After the hair is a little ole : ).
If you're trying to keep the curls would it help to add curl rods at the ends especially during a very hot summer or would you prefer not to????
That's another option. You definitely could, but personally, I wouldn't just because I wanted more of a natural curl rather than a formed curl with a rod.
To slick it back down you could try wearing a scarf on it at night to flatten it
I did this style watching your video my ends I had to use rods to get it to curl up and then it became curled too tight smh but I took it down after a week but I think it would work better for my damaged 4c hair if I try again with a curling custard or gel
Imo that means a trim is needed
What kind of hair did you use?
Lovely video. Thanks for the update.
Is that a Nefertiti necklace you have on and if so where did you get it from its nice
Thank you! Yes it is. I inherited it from my grandma when she passed
@@lanasymone Awww that's beautiful! 💕 Sorry for your loss hun. I bet she was a lovely strong woman!
Keep doing you boo, always great content!!

Notification gang
Lashes, the light makeup she had on etc gone and she’s still stunning. Go head sis with your gorgeous self!
Thank you! 💜
When you said I wonder if I could do this with twists my eyes were like 😳 cuz I was thinking that this video and last video
Yeahhhh that might have to be next! 👀
Thanks for sharing.
👍❤️😊🌹✅
How many braids did you have in your hair and how long did you keep in the boho braids
I kept them in for about 5 days and I had about 30 braids
Very nice 😊
💜💜💜
Rose water will lay it down ❤
Poxa o outro vídeo tinha tradução sou do Brasil não compreendo o inglês 🥺
i recommend shine and jam instead of eco it’s never really worked for me and i just recently found it was created by a white woman
All you have to do is mist the hair with water. That will relax it
So how long did she keep the boho B in, a month a week?
She said A week...5 days
Tying your hair down with a durag after wearing an updo will alleviate the hair not laying flat.
You remind me of Liza koshy so much. 🙂
Just spritz it with water to stretch it back out.
U a real niqqa 4 this. 🤣🙌🏾
Just add water to it and it will lay down
A little oil will calm the flakes

If you take the pony tail out and put a du rag on and sleep you will wake up to flat braids
I never heard of a twash and go.
It's a method that I created for my hair. I have another tutorial explaining how I do my twash n' gos 😉
I knew I heard “twash”- glad I’m not tripping! 😭😭
@@singkk4981 😂😂
I worry my hair won't curl like yours though 😢
