@A. Meowzki not an italian snack at all. The closest we come to that is some regions will use leftover pasta in a frittata. Maybe an Italian American snack but not Italian.

Thank you so much! Yes, you can. While the Parmesan cheese is optional, the cheese adds great flavor and gets crispy in the air fryer as well.

You could, but the oil definitely helps. The beauty of these air fryer pasta chips is that they don’t need a lot of oil. 1 teaspoon or up to 1 tablespoon is plenty and will make them perfectly crispy!
What should be the mode of oven for baking
If you turn on your convection oven, you can bake the pasta chips at 400°F for 20-25 minutes. They won’t come out as crisp but they will still work.
I know I must have done something wrong. Not all of my pasta came out crispy or crunchy. Some of it was chewy and I am guessing maybe I didn't add enough olive oil but the dip was delicious! I made my pasta chips in the oven. We have a new air fryer but I haven't opened it yet..lol. Anyway, I do like this recipe and I will try it again. Tbank you for sharing it!
You may need to separate the pasta into two batches to avoid overcrowding! Also, don’t use too much oil - 1 teaspoon or up to 1 tablespoon is plenty and will make them perfectly crispy! Glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!

I tried it (with a different topping) not a big fan honestly, I put it in to the air fryer for 10 min, 180C. But it didn’t end very crunchy. Meh.
What toppings did you try?
Mine has to go for 15 min (in intervals of 5) to get to that golden brown color.
I have to be honest. I hope whoever makes this has strong healthy teeth. I find it a hard/stale kind of crunchy. I just made some. My teeth hurt.
Oh, no! It might be possible the pasta wasn't boiled enough!
I actually over boiled it because I learned it’s better over cooked. So I cooked it an extra 2 minutes past al dente. Wish I could try yours. You make it look sooo good.
Same. 😔It was like chewing uncooked pasta. Tried it twice and it was slightly better the second time when I added more oil. I still haven't tried it with cheese, so maybe that's the secret to a fluffier crunch.

Nah. I mean, I guess it depends on how you season them, but they still taste like pasta. Just flavoured pasta.
