If anyone is still stuck with this issue then do the following.
Make sure you battery is charged to 100%.
Turn off your phone and connect your charger to the wall, not pc/laptop and then boot into recovery mode.
Go to update mode>eRecovery mode>update and recover system>download update and recover
Connect to your wifi and let it find the update, if it fails to find just tap on the two arrows in the same line as your wifi (in short it means switch wifi) and select the same connection again, if it fails then do it again.
After about 3 or 4 attempts it will force the update and install the package, keep your charger until the phone has restarted.
If by any chance the update fails at 94% then restart your phone and repeat the process. It will then continue from downloading from 94%.

congratulations on the informative videos. Question .... has the p40 Pro noticed degradation in the camera with the new emui 11? I have read a lot about it and so it returned to the older version with the past Google services .. I have the updates turned off but notifications are constantly coming with new updates, is there any solution to completely turn off the updates? thank you
Hello, I noticed little degradation in picture quality with first update to EMUI 11 but with second update I think it's fixed. Keep in mind I'm not big camera user.

Hello, you downgrade with wrong firmware and that's the problem. Search for solution how to upgrade via e-recovery with changing Wi-Fi settings.
hey my friend now what i did was just to install with hisuite a new installation the 10.1.0.166 firmware and its fine and i still got the playstore but my question is how do i know this is the latest cuz i found it from firmware finder and will i be able to get newer updates automatically from now on ?
You will be able to get updates after that only if firmware in firmware finder is approved for installation.

no it wont'. i did that for my p40 pro. after succesful updated with hisuit u need ot check ur phone able to update itself or not. u need to keep checking the hisuit ( wiht your phone connected) and your own phone system got any update availeble or not. some how i need to keep swtching to get certain update from hisuit and some from the it self. good luck

It's easy without e recovery. Some setting on Googlefier is deactivate storage permission on software update.
Just cek it after update, make sure enable permission on storage. And.. Blaaa.. Update identified... Mantap jiwa

Because you downgrade with hisuite proxy with not authorized rom.

@@jaykhoo8574 you may try to use husuit to check it out. been downgraded my p40pro firmware before for installing GMS. u can keep upgrading ur firmware until the latest one by using hisuit 1st. u need to keep chekcing ur phone and hi suit to see which one provide the update. been using this method updated 5 times untill the recent 11.0.0.175. good luck

Yes, you can upgrade just don't hard reset your phone.

Sadly Huawei made some restrictions you can try with dload method.

Hey mate, I already have video about downgrade via hisuite. If it's not work use Gspace or VphoneGaGa because hisuite proxy is dangerous and you can brick your phone.
