Genuinely surprised by how good some of these sets are. Seems France TV puts a lot of investment into their overseas setups but the commercial ones range from professional to "man with video camera in basement"
Also can we please talk about the strange approach to micing presenters/guests? The double lapel? I get it, you turn your head a lot. But look how HUGE they are on him. (5:16)
@@MarkPentler They care so much about stereo sound, literally
@@matejnosal3937hahaha. Appears so :)
we got rickrolled in the majority of the news intros
Especially TV 1 Reunion lol.
0:09 never gonna give you up never gonna let you down never gonna run around and desert you never gonna make you cry never gonna say goodbye never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
I'm so glad i wasn't the only one low-key singing it on every intro

These intros from the Overseas French Countries doesn't look too bad!
You can tell the production value levels are high among the La 1ère regions, compared to some of their rivals
because la premiere is mainly financed by the french state while the other channels are financed by the territories (at least for the polynesian case)
I love how there is a common news channel into for all of the small often neglected territories. I have no idea about the relations with France in these areas but it gives me a feeling of that France actually cares about these places and not just occupy them. I love the concept of:
"Welcome to your local tv1 news from an island in the pacific ocean" and then 12 hours later "Welcome to you local tv1 news from an island in the carribean" It's kinda badass imo.
They are France, and not place occupy by France
France doesn't occupy our territories, we're entirely part of France. We're French.
France is not only continental territory in Europe, but also islands and tips of land all over the world
La France ne nous occupes pas, nous faisons entièrement parti de La France, nous sommes Français et fière !
La France ce n’est pas que le territoire continental en Europe, mais aussi des îles et des bouts de territoire un peu partout dans le monde 😉
@@calibanflamel9575how does this tally with thoughts on European colonialism? Surely it's not all been good news?
Fun fact at 8:40 - Tahitian is a close relative to the Māori language in New Zealand! Would be interesting to compare the Te Ve'a footage with that of Te Karere and see how different news readings between the two broadcasts are, if they're affected by the diverging languages...
The current intros for the “La première” channels are actually an updated version of the 2017 intros (which itself are an updated of the 2013 ones), the intros remains the same, but it also uses the dot from the current logos, and the background now has a light blue color, along with a different font that also appears differently compared to the 2017 intros (it now uses a slighly modified version of the Brown typeface made for France Télévisions).
Also the music in the current intros is a remixed version of the previous ones (the 2013 intros actually has two themes, three if you count the variant of the first theme used in Wallis and Futuna, the remixed version is based on the second one), athough the French Polynesia intros strangely combines the current music WITH the first theme of the 2013 intro.
I also like how the Wallis and Futuna intros adds a nice motif in the background near the end.
EDIT: The Wallis and Futuna intro updated their intro a few years later, the dot slides vertically instead of horizontally, and the motif is now animated, as well as being much more noticeable than before.
The Saint Pierre and Miquelon variant was also different at the time.
Dammit La première, you rickrolled your overseas territories (and all of us)
Never gonna give you up...
yes yess i hear that as welll bruhh
Never gonna let you down...

Finally you are back. That Rick-Rolling Earth news for France overseas territories. Most of them broadcasting via France 1. I'm curious about France ô, is that channel still exist?
Unfortunately, France Ô was shut down last August.
It's not France 1 but outremer la 1ere
Franceinfo currently airs a shorter news bulletin that only shows the most important news from some La première channels, as France Ô was shut down last year (however, France Ô actually aired EVERY news bulletin from the La première channels along with the shorter news bulletin that I mentionned earlier, it even aired Breaking news from said La première channels on very rare occasions).
I love how they have native ethnicities presenting the news. Really appreciate the fact that they actually consider representation and don't want to push the white face onto the populace.
Lol if I would say the same about french metropolitan TV must be all white, everyone would call me a racist.
They aren't really "natives". They were brought there from other regions of the world at the same time the European French came to settle in these territories. There were almost no one there beforehand.
I Just Rick Rolled by a News Intro in a French Overseas Country.
Super intéressant ! 👌
Bien joué Tevebits
Next to make, Overseas British TV News Intros.

Antenne Reunion looks like they're trying to mimic TF1.
They are the TF1 affiliate in the region and share reports. Usually they broadcast world news coverage and reports from TF1 as the local station does not have the enough money to send reporters everywhere.
We’re rickrolled hahahahaha

You do realize that Sangihe is governed by Indonesia, right?
The hosts have no business of being this hot
Some intros are actually France O intros :)
France Ô was the national channel of the French overseas territories, with reabroadcast of the 1ere programs and news. France Ô evening news (with same intro as the 1ere) was a compilation of the news of the 1ere. France Ô was closed in august 2020, an overseas territories news is stil broadcasted before the regional lunchtime news of France 3, and rebroadcasted several times on the public news channel franceinfo: .

agree on Spainish, Telediario has a new intro so it would be nice if tevebits have a compilation about that
Spain intros? When
Hará un video que muestre las presentaciones de las noticias de la televisión española que yo también quiero ver.
It's expected to have a new TVE's Telediario graphism in a few weeks, so I think it's better to take a while.
La 1ère sounds and looks like France24. 😂
I think it belongs to France Televisions as well as FranceInfo
Well both of them are done by Gédéon, a renowned French broadcast design company.
@@drazoal France 24 actually belongs to a separate entity called "France Médias Monde", focused on exterior broadcasting.
