  • Keeping your precious sewing scissors away from the rest of the family is one thing. Keeping them clean and sharp while they’re in your possession is another!
Corinne Bradd has created a set of scissors cases to keep your dressmaking shears, general sewing scissors and embroidery snips out of harm’s way and easy to find when they hide in your sewing box.
Two pieces of fabric, a little wadding and a snap fastener is all you’ll need to get started, and you’ll find all three templates in this link - don't forget to add 5mm seam allowance when you cut the fabric www.sewmag.co.....

I love your design. I was thinking that a fold over top was the way to go - I like your design because I have several pair of scissors and this way I can see which ones I have without opening the case.

This is just what I was wanting as I have lost the lovely cover that came with my very expensive dressmaking scissors. Thank you x

I love this idea! I already made one and it turned out so good. I needed a cover for my scissors. Thank you so much, and I really appreciate the free template.

Uma dúvida 🙋🏼‍♀️, eu posso fazer a tira que prende a tesoura ✂️ mais larga?

Oh! That *is* weird. It's playing ok on my laptop, and I've just checked my phone and it's working on there too. Erm... don't really know to suggest? c x

Hello again and thanks for the great tutorial. Would you consider giving your measurements in both metric and imperial? I’m in Australia and we use both but being an old girl, I prefer the imperial style. That would be great and thanks in anticipation.

I use both too but it's easier to stick to one measurement when demoing otherwise I start to confuse myself 😆 c x
