- The #GMCYukon is all-new for 2021, based on the same new truck platform as its siblings from Chevrolet and Cadillac, the latest #YukonDenali adds more luxury, technology, comfort, and space this year. While the new #YukonDenaliDiesel is the fuel-sipping offering, giving drivers up to 27 MPG and over 600 miles of range on a single tank of diesel fuel.

Now that we've shown you guys all 3, between the Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade... which one is your favorite and why? Let us know below!
Escalade because of the OLED screen.
Which ever is the smaller so i can maneuver it more swiftly with the diesel power
Of just the 3, the Yukon. Because of the new cinder block look that GM has, I think the Yukon looks the best out of the 3. Also, you can spec it to be more affordable or get more luxury with the Denali.
@Beelzebot buying a new car in the first place isn’t a wise decision. All cars depreciate really quickly.
I like the Yukon WAY better than the Tahoe/Suburban but I can’t say no to an Escalade..
In my opinion ever since GMC and Chevy started making different looking vehicles GMC always looks better.
To me the 2007- 2014 Tahoe/Suburban did look better than the Yukon during that time.
@@meeralrafee1875 100% spot on I had an 07 Tahoe LTZ, traded it for a 15 Yukon SLT. And now i just picked up a 2020 Sierra AT4 HD
only difference on them is literally the grill everything else is the same
@@avo4154 there is so much wrong with this statement. Way more than a grille thats different.
@@marcusbachelder for years the yukon tahoe and ecscalde has always been the same you're paying for the name that's about it interior wise it's all the same and the only difference outside is the grille it's been this way the last 20 years
The GMC Yukon is one of the best looking SUV’s out there, I like the idea how GMC gave the Denali a different interior compared to the other trims and the Tahoe, I’ll choose the Yukon’s exterior with the Escalade’s interior. Great review Sofyan!
It looks like shit, while somehow looking like every single other SUV on the planet.
@@attackroflchopter4403 That’s your opinion
@@attackroflchopter4403 drives a 1998 Ford explorer
I would take this over #Escalade any day!!!!!
Huge fan of the channel and wanted to say I absolutely love that you guys keep in the bloopers lol. Gives it a nice breaking the 4th wall kinda feeling.
I bought one, w/diesel. It’s Boss.
Congratulations .Beautiful vehicle.
Yes it is congrats
Congrats. Waiting on ours. Happy with the diesel?
@@Samson518 it’s awesome. Really happy with it.
@@lehoangvulong-faidhn6530 not at all. Focus on the torque. I wouldn’t own this SUV any other way. Zero chance your disappointed.
I never had or driven a GMC before. Last weekend we rented a 2022 GMC Sierra elevation package for a 1000km road trip. I enjoyed driving it so much. Very comfortable truck and it looked great. Now I am looking at this SUV for ourselves as we don't really need a truck and this seems to have the same comfortable interior as the truck.
The button for the center counsel is on the ceiling.
yaaaaaaa
Logical
Thank you for doing such a comprehensive review! I just hope this will fit in our new garage w/alley access...
Cheers
Doc
I'm actually impressed with the interior design and perceived interior build quality. Good job, GM!
That door slam actually sounded shaky, but at least GM has finally designed a decent interior. Now they just need to put an interior like this in their pickup trucks.
Its coming for 2022, at least thats what GM said for the truck interior.
@@nathanvbrown3630 This interior is really, freaking, nice.
I don’t think you should be *slamming* the door, but *closing* it rather.
I prefer an interior with just the basics.
All the unnecessary quirks and features just increase the price.
Have to step in say, no. I think they got it right with the mechanical gauges. I know a lot of people would rather have a full digital display, but having touches of mechanical to me, is more classic, so it speaks more luxury like to me. I feel going all digital would just feel cheaper, even if it isn't.
The swag the Escalade used to have, on the outside, the Yukon picked up and ran with
Easily the best looking of the 3 GM Full Size Utes
I am glad I am not alone in this. Everyone kept saying how the new Escalade is so amazing, when I could hardly tell apart Tahoe from it. I think the Yukon is by far the best looking out of the 3.
The Yukon is my favorite out of the 3. I love the rugged exterior!
Great video , the dumpsters are looking good at the background ! LOL !
Another great review! Thank you!
Of the GM triplets the Yukon is my favorite!
Great review as always. Keep up the great work. I will be buying this truck with the diesel. 4x4 with all the extras.
The Yukon is definitely the design winner for this generation. Love the AT4 trim 🤙🏻
Excellent review, you do a great job. Every time you said, "My Tester" I thought you were saying my Tesla. First time viewer so 🙂
Excellent review as usual and I hope you'll be moving to 4K format soon as the image look a bit grainy on larger TVs .
You’re one of the best reviewers, and it’s hard to believe you didn’t find buttons to move central console…
I actually like these!! Excellent review.
Good videos man very informative 👍
I'd def. pick this over the other two, the exterior and interior designs are so much more suitable for my liking especially the interior one, so cozy
I really hope you get a chance to answer my other, recent post, but watching your review again, I thought of another question: Do you know, does the loaded Denali Ultimate have all the same mechanical/electronic internal features and resulting off road and bad weather capabilities that are in the loaded AT4? Other than the benefit of the larger tires and approach angle of the AT4 of course. And if it does, has it been de-tuned at all? Since I cannot get the AT4 with the diesel, it opens me up to seriously considering the Denali with the Diesel; and the loaded top Escalade either doesn't have all that internal stuff identically the same, or it is at least de-tuned for luxury making it less capable. Thanks.
This is the best car review i've ever seen so far.
Props to the exterior design team at GMC!
This vehicle is astonishing
Yea except the belt driven oil pump that can’t be fixed unless you drop the trans and transfer case lol.
Hello redline reviews, you have yet to review the ZL1... are we ever going to get that? I remember you saying you loved the redesigned camaro back in 2016 but have not covered the refresh or ZL1 trim.
How is the Turbo lag both from stop signs and passing say 50-70 MPH. Is throttle response fairly instantaneous or does it hesitate?
It is very symbolic to shoot a video about this brand of car with a dumpster in the background. The hint is clear. Thanks.
The center console move button is where the sunroof buttons are!
Are the diesel versions more reliable than the regular 5.3 version ? Also can u get the 4x4 version with Diesel engine option.
this is the first review that opens the rear glass. I had no idea they did that.
The power slide center console has an unlabeled button on the control button group near the sunroof control. It is intentionally unlabeled for security purposes.
Great review as always nice suv
really good review videos good job
This is AWESOME with 4WD of course. I would definitely consider this.
How’s the sound system? Do they have a premium audio option?
How is the interior noise? In the video it sounded quite loud in the cabin, I didn't notice you talking about noise in the cabin (maybe you mentioned it).
nice, which trim has rear entertainment screens?
I didn’t notice the jacket rustling until your camera guy pointed it out.
IKR. I thought it was very inappropriate to interrupt him. He actually made more of a disturbance than the jacket.
Yep
The center console hidden cubby button is next to the sunroof controls.
I have a Mercedes 6 cylinder sprinter and i love the fuel economy so this is up my alley
You make great videos
I love how the Denali looks
I rented one in Seattle and LOVE IT!
How is this in the winter? Is there any problem starting in the winter like in -30 to -40?
The center console might have the optional locking box in storage compartment, that could explain why it's "not as deep" and might be reason why it's not movable as well. And the button to control it is in lower middle of the roof button panel. ;)
I was looking at that button every time it showed it LOL ( I know they have figured it out by now )
Hi. I am planning on buying this car but I am still hesitant about which kind of fuel I should buy. Can you tell us more about the noise of the diesel? Is the sound from the machine noticeable when we seat in the car? How if we compare between diesel and 6.2l machine? Thanks and hope to see your help soon
Beautiful exterior and fantastic interior 👌
The noise from your jacket is quite distracting!
This thing looks more baller than the Escalade. Interior is not as nice but ain’t bad at all.
Looks Incredible
GMC said
“ do you want some suv with your chrome?”
Is this trim the very dark ash gray / walnut interior color?
I think it could really add some value to your reviews, when comparing two model years (old vs new), just throw in a quick image of the old model for reference... or an example here was putting in an image of the blacked out grill as a visual guide...
If I was getting one, which I thought I wanted one, it would probably be this Yukon Denali, but I rented a Tahoe once, and compared to my three-row crossover, the space in this full size is just a bit excessive for my needs, and, compared to my current car, the extra 3" wide and 13" long will push my garage to its limits! Maybe when my kids are teens and we require more space, this will make it to my driveway.
Nice Dumpsters, are they included?
I hope this man understands that every time he says , so so car company they should have this and this, it means more 💰💰💰💰💰
But is it worth getting the diesel with diesel gas being more expensive? Does it offset?
Finally, I'm not alone in saying the Yukon Denali looks better than Escalade! Great review as always!
Close but the Escalade comes out on top
@@Mr504BLACKMAN for you
@@tww15tube if I had the money I would rather the Denali but the Escalade is on another level though
Agreed
Good Review 👍
GM needs to start offering a 'black out package' on all of their trucks and SUVs. Most people just aren't into vehicles bathed in chrome anymore, so they should give buyers a choice.
You will get the chrome and you will like it
I noticed the Diesel doesn’t have a quad exhaust as in the 6.2L Denali version.
Love this new Yukon very luxurious
Is there any GMC yukon dinale new model here in Philippines?
can the 3rd row seats be removed?
The center console mover button is on the ceiling near the dome lights and the sunroof control.
😅
These things are gorgeous but wish I could afford one. So expensive
Me too
I'm buying a used one , Denali XL diesel 65k
That grill is so large I could cook brisket on it.
My favorite suv first one I bought in was 2005 denali in New York
Have they fixed the shutter/vibration issues of the past?!
Personally I do think they should’ve went to the digital dash also. My main concern they should’ve done is used the original or Escalade gear shifter and made the Navi screen all the way over. Go with the bigger screen
I agree that the gauges, especially on the Denalis, should've been fully digital. That said, I expect that GM wanted to save SOMETHING for the MCE (mid-cycle enhancement), and I have a sneaking suspicion that the mechanical tach and speedometer will disappear when the MCE comes along in three years or so.
Digital gauges suck.
thanks buddy i am big fan of this car😇i really want this man badly
Though it's nice that they are offering a diesel option, the Denali trim is synonymous for the 6.2 and personally I wouldn't get any other way.
damn this Grill is huge, this Grill can easy soak up small cars.
*Cries in smart car*
Not big enough, it could be a little bigger...
@@ACZcamsChannelwithNoName yes i know when it´s to small then bigger is better.
@@ACZcamsChannelwithNoName I think because of the front sensors there is a limit to some extent.
WHAT COLOR IS THE EXT/INT?? Kind of an important piece of info you left out of the review....
Wonder what the chrome would look like if it was darker..hmm
Very Nice looking either way.
Nice vehicle. But where's the v8 duramax? Have we become that agitated by larger engines?! (And 3/4 ton SUVs?)
What would this model cost to lease?
Does it have that desirable turbo spooling up whine?
Solid review. Well done. You've provided more input about how the diesel drives than any other I've seen so far, though there is a driving scenario you did not mention that I wish you had, or maybe that you or some of the posters here might post and answer here: You mentioned that at speeds on the highway the diesel isn't as powerful passing other vehicles as the 6.2 liter was. I am wondering how this diesel would do at highway speeds on mountain turnpikes going uphill, if it will even accelerate to pass at all. And since you did mention the Sport mode, might putting it into Sport mode help its passing ability going up hills at speed. Also, how might the diesel engine do at high altitudes like in Colorado or Utah, or in sub freezing winter temperatures, say when you first start it up on a very cold morning. Any additional input like this would be welcome. Either way, thanks for a good review. (P.S. In case it helps with your input, it is the 4 wheel drive diesel I am considering, either the Denali or the Escalade, in either case the loaded top trim)
Hey Nate, did you end up purchasing one? I’m considering one really soon. Id love your feedback
@@jasondumitru I did not. Ended up putting off the car decision. Now with this chip shortage it seems some vehicles won't come with some things. Check into that if you get one. The delay allowed time for them to come out with the 2023 Denali Ultimate, which I like quite a bit, maybe better than the other Denali's in part because it apparently has richer leather and massaging front seats. If I was to get one now I would seriously consider the new 2023 which apparently will hit the streets this fall. It comes in just one interior and exterior color. I like the interior a good bit. I can't quite tell what the exterior is, it looks almost purple, so not sure about that. Most, not all but most, of the exterior trim is a darker Vader chrome which is beautiful and not so shiny as the original chrome which they do keep in two places.
You didn’t go over the controls above the rear view mirror, if you had you would have found the power control for the sliding center console. More secure that way
Very eye catching truck
This SUV it's beautiful
Way better! Because there’s actual cup holder in the back! (Not the door cup holder bs). Air suspension rides really smooth too
My family plans on buying one of these when the inventory situation becomes better. I just I’m not sold on the diesel.
Get the Navigator.
It's more upscale.

Stick with what I know works. I love the 6.2 v8.
The diesel is actually a wise choice in a vehicle this size, presuming you live somewhere that gas stations have diesel readily available.
Careful with the belt driven oil pump. Do your research.
Amazing that this engine is only $1K more than base engine and $1.5K less than the 6.2L V8. Nice pricing structure.
WHY OH WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE A 4K CAMERA YET???????
Very Nice!
Interesting video... Are you trying to tell us something displaying, subliminally with the double Trash Dumpsters in the background, about this Awesome looking vehicle? Hmmm ...
Awesome!!!!!
I still want to know what the frunk is for. Thought it would be for the diesel. Apparently not.
After testing the Tahoe Z71, I'm not sure I would make the leap to the GMC models unless I cared that much about the styling. The Tahoe is so great that I don't think the sub Denali models really offer anything on the GMC side, but I do like that trim exclusive Denali dash....
Have a 2017 Yukon; trans went @ 97k. Shame they did not put an Allison Trans on that 3.0l Diesel. If they did, I would take one.
Man, no autopilot included yet. Nah, I’m waiting for autopilot to add in it... I’ll definitely buy it, no questions asked. :)

Nice view of the dumpsters.
When you see sofyan stand beside it he is literally dwarfed by it although sofyan is only 4ft 11inches.
