I noticed that too, is that just because he doesn’t use a clutch or is it a auto clutch??
Maybe that’s to train him not to redline the engine over every bump and jump.

@@colinchildsrekluse auto clutch kit, u dnt need a clutch lever anymore, the bike will not stall, it acts like the small dirtbikes with no clutch.

Budds Creek! My hometown race! From the DC/PG area. Only been to one professional motocross race, which was Budds Creek, to see my favorite rider at the time Rick Johnson (who you remind me of as a racer and personality). It was sooo cool that day at Budds Creek.
My moto mentor Don had a pit pass and I was taking pictures of dudes bikes. The last surviving picks were RJ coming around a corner on a downhill and Jean Michel Bayle's bike hiked up on a stand in the pits.
Emig stole the show that day being the only 125 rider to either double or triple on the steep uphill. It was SICK how he launched that 125. Crazy suspension rebound and seat bounce.That memory is still burned into my brain of him flying uphill on some straight anti gravity stuff.
Will be watching from the living room this weekend as usual. Looking forward to seeing you get back out there still just as hungry as before. Mental adaptation and agility dude. That's the recipe of champions. Got to be able to move (on) as well as stick and then stick again. Stick and move. Fluid mentality.

If u remember i said dont sweat the 238...ride good an you willhave the 38 number plate back with good rides an point will be enuf...i think ur cover up where u finish in 250s u can run the number 3 plate so u earned the number 38 by 35 positions u got ur number covered...easy peasey great season...

Last week's first moto was impressive, most people have no idea how hard it is to regroup in the middle of a race and pick up the leaders pace after you have been steamrolled by 4-5 guys that were behind you. That in itself is a trait of a champion most people don't have.

Yeah i commented on dilla he had just drop the hammer at unadilla 4 or 5 laps before then tje engine went i heard it on press day....SSSSSHHHHSSSSSHHHHH extra shearing sound...who knows if live it was noticeable...it kept running oh well...

Love your videos! Your family is the total package! I’m sure you are super proud and beyond belief.
Question for ya….I’m a ranger with California state parks and I usually patrol on a Ktm 350. Only been riding for a short period of time but I’ve been finding myself having issues with trusting my bike on certain turns and riding in dry terrain. I don’t know if it’s the additional weight I carry with my vest, backpack, and belt or if it’s more of a mental thing.
Any advice on riding and really issuing that counter weight on turns?

New tyres and might need suspension revalve. Also with additional weight you wear like gear ect affects your sag. Probably the main 3 to go over.
I would get saddle bags for touring dirt bikes to keep you gear in. Then balance the weight in each bag. Then you should be able to use your body weight more centered on the bike which will give you more control. Once you've been riding long enough to really get comfy then the gear wont matter. It would be a good idea to put a lot of riding time on your days off. Eventually everything will become second nature
Riding the 450 a good work out like strapping 25 pounds on the 250 then take the weights off an race it...i went go kart racing an my kart is 11 yrars old so first race i didnt run the weights...because i clear the state karting weight minumum by 7 pounds an my local track wanted me to add 15 pounds so i did 10 pounds an the rest i did with fuel...i made it by one pound...but yhe kart sucked to drive

the videosays stock bike and then they go on to show a tricked out 450F I never saw a stock bike. I saw a bike with aftermarket graphics, triple clamps, wheels and hubs, pipe and silencer etc. what was stock about it?

Haidens still a champion. This was his learning year its amazing that he even contended for the title at his age and it was out of his control it wasn’t Haiden couldn’t win it but a bike malfunction. Don’t be too hard on yourself Brian, Haiden you’ve got this I’ve been following for years ❤

as a consumer on road chain lube isnt the go to ...... dirt sticks wears the chain out quicker
off road lube is designed to fling so the chain stays cleaner

Haiden is in good hands with Brian the legend helping his son the right way to become his own legend too. At Haidens young age he has surprised me for one with his hard work, grit and determination and hunger to win. Keep the work ethic up, the experience will only make you better Haiden, your time at the top will come to you.

Please for the love of God tell me that no one said anything to him about kicking his bike and throwing his goggles. I've seen so many people talking about how he was in the wrong and it pisses me off. That was pure raw emotion. I hope that star or anyone around him didn't say anything.
Right any normal person is gonna be pissed.
Especially when you have so much passion, he is not your typical 17 yr old. This kid wakes up early hits the gym or jumps on a bike to cycle 20 plus miles does all these motos runs God knows how many miles all in the pursuit of being the champion and when he is at the back tire getting ready to make his move his bike blows taking away that opertunity. Putting myself in that situation I don't know that I handle it any different. And I'm welllll over the age of 17.

Stock clutch with Yamalube oil starts to slipping very fast on YZ450f 2023. I just changed to KTM clutch discs and Motorex oil, hope it helps!
