I really appreciate the way that they made K seem to really try and talk before resorting to the neuraliser, adds a lot more depth to the scene
This really tied up the trilogy and answered why K chose J in the original. Brolin nailed young TLJ, perfect casting.

Boris' death:
2012: Burned to death by the rocket's engine.
1969: Killed by K for good, breaking the cycle.
I always loved that we find out that K had been watching over J since he was a small child. Makes their partnership feel much more father to son than it was before. Remember how K would use MIB tech to watch over his old fling. Now imagine how often he would do that to check in on J and make sure he was doing alright. He probably had J pegged for the agency long before he came across Zed's desk.
Also at one point J said some shit about his dad that made K upset and he puts J in his place about it, such a fine detail from the second movie that has weight to it later on

Hahahahahaha. Man stfu, It's a good scene. But this movie is action based, not a drama or anything similar to be called one of the most touching scenes 😂

This really looked like it was filmed in the late 90's with the color. Nice work.
If you think about it. its kinda weird that Wills focus is on his smaller self while it would make more sense to focus on his father laying dead on the sand.
Realising its your father would be more mind boggling than that you see your smaller self.
I try to imagin that he went to his fathers body and took a good goodbye.
I guess he already figured out his Dad passed and came to terms with it, I guess he was moreso shocked that K was there from the beginning. Could say K is like a pseudo father to the one he lost.
It's more that he didn't even realize it was his own father until he saw his younger self's pocket watch because K neuralized him as a kid. He didn't even know what his dad looked like as Adult J.
How did K have the portable neuralyzer in the 60s? Didn’t they have a big ass machine for that?

They showed that he had a portable one but it took ages to charge up. J stopped him from using it and went to use his own one. I'm guessing it was already charged and ready to use from earlier

multiple times the creature who can fire deadly spikes out of the middle of his hand, grabbed J around the neck with that same hand and just...threw him back a bit.
Yeah. All villains do that. Even the wannabes who insist they'd never be that stupid.
Because the ego demands it...and ego is the only thing any villain ever has. Real or fictional...they're always the same.
They compulsively NEED others to see their victory. It doesn't mean anything to win, unless your opponent has to live to see it happen, has to live with knowing the villain won. It will absolutely NEVER be otherwise.
I usually hate it when writers want to make these unforeseen connections, but the ending always gets me in tears so I'll cut them some slack this time.

That rocket traveled a hell of a long way really fast to be that far away from earth right after launch.
The first stage of a Saturn V gets to over 6,000 mph
@@VoxAstra-qk4jz To be that far away from the earth to have it at that size, they'd have to be at least halfway to the moon, which would take just under a day (19 hours and some change) at minimum. 6000mph is fast, but not anywhere that fast to travel 120k miles in a few minutes
If THIS makes you cringe, then you do NOT want to watch Star Trek: Into Darkness. Especially near the end, when the Enterprise starts falling toward Earth - from the vicinity of the Moon's orbit - and the Moon was clearly nearby.
- The Moon was CLOSER - Enterprise should've fallen toward THE MOON.
- And yes - a spacecraft that was just "keeping station" like the Enterprise was will start to fall towards the nearest big mass once the thrusters are off. But - guess what - we already DID that - in the APOLLO missions. (See how this loops back?) And the Apollo spacecraft does indeed "fall" back to Earth. But it takes FOUR FREAKING DAYS. Not the 8 minutes it appeared to take in the...
You know what? I'm stopping right there before I get worked up into a proper RANT...
*Let's just wrap it up this way - Hollywood writers have absolutely NO sense of scale whatsoever.*

I would have had the team say "we gotta call this in" and right before they call houston K knowing they would cancel the launch pulls out the nuraylzer and says gentleman look at this. *flash* I'm just a maintenance worker doing a last minute systems check. Everything is good to go. Enjoy the moon gentleman. Or a simple "you didn't see me!" *flash* then they all ask each other did you see that? No. Did you see that? No.

It's a flaw in almost all villains...both fictional AND real ones. They need that satisfaction. It's not enough to win...they NEED their adversaries to know they're beaten. It's compulsive...like breathing.

BUT the launch escape tower was jettisoned in low Earth orbit and there was a good bit of time between their entry into low Earth orbit and the TLI burn.
Still tho, fun movie. I like it. I'm glad the animators had fun with the Apollo 11 launch.

Everytime i see a movie i can't help but notice the stupidity of the bad guys who have the protagonist in their grasp and instead of finishing him they throw him away and then try to attack him. I understand that there are plot needs but at least writers should avoid writing such paradoxical situations...
