When you can smell it's breath and it's slobbering on you, prob don't need to range it.
I know me and my wife was asked if we could go anywhere in the world where would it be , and we both have said Alaska everytime......just a beautiful majestic, intriguing place ......
No problem with hunting for food.. But to kill a Majestic Beast like that for fun, I wished you would have confronted him like he was, naked and with bare hands

I love fishing so much and always catch and release but if I don’t I eat what I keep. I couldn’t imagine killing such an amazing animal for sport. Just watching that thing up close would be something to witness

The only thing you kept was the skull? That makes me sick I hunted a Brown bear on Kustatan for days and we packed out the rug, head, and much meat, this is exactly why Alaskans don't like people from the lower 48 coming up to trophy hunt, if you kill it you eat it.

A 9mm will graze off a bears skull. I know people hunt bears with pistols, but those are powerful ones. I'm sure a 9mm "could" kill a large bear but it's not effective at all.

it only made it more stressful and exciting on the spot. Just imagine listening to that, looking at that HUGE bear face to face while trying to figure out the right time and skill to get a vital shot....that needs skill

I hunt and always have an appreciation for these animals. They live in the wilderness and they survive hour by hour, day by day in conditions that we would die in very quickly.. when I see a hunt like this it’s bitter sweet. What a huge bear and to think that the king of the wilderness got fooled by a few guys with a piece of plastic in their mouth. Idk if I would hunt an animal like that just for the rug and the skull... but, to each their own.

There is a lot of after the kill recreation .Who would be twelve yard,s from a huge bear with a bow,that would stop and take the time to look through their finder.At twelve yard,s you sure don,t have to worry if he is close enough for a shot.

yes and sweeter too, but most of these hunt they don't even pack the meat out.. the meat are left for scavengers that's the saddest part.

@@D_Nice_2022 from what i've know these bears are killed just for their hide only, as you can see that back pack wouldn't fit any meat, nor you see others pack it out, just one pack is filled with a hide..i killed a black bear and it takes me 2 trip to haul out a medium black bear meat carrying up to 60-75 pounds of meat.
@@D_Nice_2022 in this case it's for sport or trophy either way it's not for food, as you can see the guide is carrying the hide and the shooter is carrying the skull only, so what that tells you?!! use your own judgement, cause it took me 2 trips to pack out a medium size black bear.. a bear that size, would've taken them 4 trips at least to pack out the meat if they did.

Fucking assholes. The best days of my life was walking in the words and running into bears. They wanted me to leave their space they were picking blue berries. I got my young son to walk to me & we walked out of their blueberry patch.
