  • Tahrir Square, packed full of supporters of Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi, erupts into wild celebrations as the official results of the presidential runoff are announced.
    Morsi beat his rival Ahmed Shafiq and will be declared the next president of Egypt.

    still its not easy choice cus to choose Shafiq is like to reelect mubarak so alot f people felt that if Shafiq wins its like mubarak was never taken down from the presidency

    dude Egyptians really had ONLY TWO choices in this election: it's either the Islamist Morsi, or the military dictatorship-supported Shafiq, formerly deputy of Mubarak who would you have chosen ?
