I’ve enjoyed all of them hosting, I’d be happy with it staying on rotation. They all got their own flavor that doesn’t really get fully fleshed out with the three minute correspondent appearances.

We've waited a long time for Desi to get to be the host and gosh, she did not disappoint. I'm loving the slightly chaotic, slightly unhinged energy.
I think the last few weeks have really shown just how incredibly talented everyone that makes the show is.
And, frankly, that most of them are much better at it than Noah.

Just let all the correspondents and a few guests rotate and keep doing the show. They are all great! I love Desi! and I also love Roy, and Jordan, and can't wait for Dulce and Ronnie Michael Costa to also participate.
I love Desi's joyful smirk when she nails a punchline!! I don't recall every seeing that reaction during her correspondent bits. I'm glad she's having fun as host - she's crushing it!

Why two. She can handle it.
No doubt, she can handle it alone. She’s been fantastic and wouldn’t need much adjustment time to take on the role and perform well.
If it helps prevent burnout (too many consecutive nights “on”), I’d want to see her split the job with Roy or Leslie.. leading different weeks, months, or whatever makes sense. They bring different perspectives, racial, gender, age, etc and will naturally bring a different lens to topics.
I wasn’t trying to insult Desi; I genuinely enjoyed Roy’s turn AND her turn the best. I can’t choose. 🤷♂️

I really think they should just cycle through the correspondents as the host. They all know the show the best. We know and love them. It would be a fun twist on late night and also add some sense of stability

On the Sheeran lawsuit I've heard more than one recording artist say, "how can you own a chord progression?"
Marvin Gaye songs are some of the most played songs on radio. People forget that ALLL artists regardless of medium get inspiration from previous works. It could be a chord progression or a lyric or a anything else. Let’s not forget though that the Marvin Gaye estate successfully sued robin thicke and Ferrell Williams over same copyright accusations

AGREE! I think Hasan was the best of the lot, but despite my bias the rotating host set-up is the way to go. The show ROCKS!

So far, in all of the guest hosts we have had, I have yet to see one that could not host their own show.
But, I will say that Desi has taken the center stage in this regard. She really deserves to host her own show.
She has fantastic delivery, and her ability to laugh at her jokes when everyone is cringing is truly ballsy. She deserves a show.
Being on the Daily Show can make your career. We've seen it before with John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Samantha Bee, etc. Desi is taking that opportunity, and showing that she has the ability to host.
Desi Lydic is probably one of the funniest people I've ever seen in my entire life.
Desi is doing the best monologues, she's my favourite host alongside Roy so far.
And I think Michael Kosta's week is gonna be hilarious, too.
What I find a pity is that we don't see critical interviews from the correspondents in the studio (or any guest host really), I think this is a key skill for a Daily Show host!
