Agreed! Dude didn't just lead any conference in rushing, he led the SEC.. including 114 against LSU, 112 against Georgia, and 128 against Ohio State. The guy was running all over some of the best college football teams in the land. Also, although his 40 time isn't great, his 10-yard split is 1.55, EXTREMELY quick
mizzou student here, we were really pissed off that he went Undrafted. He is someone who has been continuously underestimated and has proven every single doubter wrong. Most Missouri students were hoping people were going to stop underestimating him after the 2023 season. I guess Cody will have to make the people making the picks look like idiots just like he has with everyone else who ever doubted him. I was one of the people who doubted this guy when he walked on from a d2 school.
I hate that the 49ers got this stud... while my Rams burned a high pick on a very similar RB. Rams could have used that high pick on a different need and still picked up Schrader late. Basically, the Rams and 49ers both got the same RB, but the 9ers got theirs for NOTHING
@Dj2knitro Lets get a little more serious than that though. Jeff Wilson Jr. got plenty of touches when he was here (also an undrafted guy out of North Texas). Schrader led the SEC in rushing this past year, so in case of injuries, Kyle has shown in the past that he has no issues going with a young undrafted guy at RB. QB and WR are different matters, but not at RB
@@RDSports5 Jeff Wilson was always hurt and once we got CMC was a after thought. So until Kyle eases off CMC no other RB will really prosper or get a chance. This not to begrudging Schrader, this team n this coach won’t allow him to truly shine look at Mason. Dude should’ve gotten hella more touches and you think Schrader going to eat before him with the scraps he gets as is Ha! But I do hope Kyle goes to more of a committee in the back field & allows others to eat.
He reminds me of Maurice Drew Jones but obviously not as strong. He has great acceleration, very decisive runner who's patient behind the line but plays at full speed and like a bat out hell once he finds his lane

He pulled his hamstring on his first 40 at the combine, hence the 4.61. I've heard somewhere that he's closer to 4.55 unofficially.
