    Costa Rica Wildlife Photography VLOG: With my partner, in November 2019, I travelled to Puerto Viejo, La Fortuna, Arenal, Monteverde and Puntarenas - photographing what I could along the way; nothing was planned. There's loads of content here including Birds, Mammals, Reptiles; me photographing in the sea.. and a damaged 400mm lens. What a place Costa Rica is! I do hope to go back. Please consider sharing this video on Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media - it really helps to get my channel out there!
    Filmed with Canon M50 and 15-45mm lens.
    Equipment: Canon 1DX Mark i

    Love Costa Rica. Wildlife photography paradise. I hired a guide in Sarapiqui and we totalled 68 different bird species in 1km over a 2 hour period, pretty much the same result in Monteverde and in Osa. Wish I was going back soon!

    Great photos. That lens can produce some amazing images. One thing I notice is the ISO value could be smaller in some images, not that matters if the sensor can handle higher ISO nicely.

    • @PaulMiguelPhotography
      @PaulMiguelPhotography  Před 4 lety

      You're absolutely right about the high ISOs. I wouldn't normally shoot that high (and often it wasn't required). It's just a consequence of bvoth vlogging and photographing - you don't have time to fine tune sometimes!

    • @PaulMiguelPhotography
      @PaulMiguelPhotography  Před 3 lety +1

    The black vultures along with turkey vultures are common here in southwest Ohio, and are some of my favorite birds. I find them attractive in their own way, and they serve an important purpose. It's possible those on the beach thought that you were a corpse washed up by the tide. You Brits are a bit pasty you know. 😉
