  • [Draw a Right Triangle with a Carpenter’s Square]
    Mark the 0 and 20 cm points on the edge of the material.
    Align 10 cm on the short branch to one mark, and the long branch to the other mark.
    [Draw an Isosceles Triangle with a Carpenter’s Square]
    Match the same graduations on the long and short branches to the edge of the material.
    [Draw an Equilateral Triangle with a Carpenter’s Square]
    Mark the 0 and 20 cm points on the edge of the material.
    Align 10 cm on the short branch to one mark, and the long branch to the other mark.
    Draw a 10 cm line on the short branch, then extend the line to 20 cm on the long branch.
    Draw a straight line from the left mark to the tip of the 20 cm line.
    [Mark the Center of a Circle with a Carpenter’s Square]
    Align the corner of the carpenter’s square to the circle’s edge, with the same graduations on the long and short branches touching the left and right edges.
    Mark left and right, then connect the two marks with a line.
    Rotate the circle 90° and repeat those earlier steps.
