I just got a call from chevy that colorado zr2s just came in off truck. Am thinking of getting one. I like that bronze color. Wow! Do wish they worked on the engine to get the mpgs going upward and do wish rear seats folded down there was more cargo storage ...and not just the bed. Lol
Chevy made the truck that Toyota should’ve made with the 2024 Tacoma… It’s sad how much money I’ve thrown at my 2017 taco just to get it to to similar suspension/tire setup and I still don’t have rock sliders
I had a 17 taco! Didn’t put a lot into it, 4” lift, 34’s, sliders and it was super capable! Toyota is offering lift kits and other accessories for 24. Still going to be a great truck!
They have the TRD pro with fox racing shocks which competes with the zr2 and they also now have the Trailhunter which is built more for rock crawling like the Zr2 Bison. I dont get what you are missing out with the Tacoma.
That package includes a huge blind spot with that rear spare in the bed, I use my rear camera with slide window open, has awesome rear vision like that!
It's still a terrible design decision. I have to override the auto lamps on my 2022 all the time and this would be annoying but even worse is the bed lamps being buried like three screens deep. This truck is beautiful but GM did so much cost cutting it makes it hard to accept.
Yeah, the Colorado/Canyon is undeniably the best looking midsize truck on the market. It’s also the best bang for buck across trim levels apples-to-apples. I believe the engine will prove to be superior to the competition long-term.

Tried to order one from one of their dealerships for 9 months. They basically ignored me and never kept me informed. Guess they were able to order some for themselves or someone else. I definitely wouldn’t buy from them. Best of luck to you though! It’s a great truck.

Yeah I got the same run around for 9 months. Finally got aggressive with searching and almost got lucky but missed the build by 2 days because of the strike. Then by absolute dumb luck I stumbled on the exact ZR2 I was looking for.
I got my new Colorado Trail Boss the 430# torque calibration today, I was gonna go all out and get a ZR2 but they are closer to 60k here in Arizona, I payed 41,000 for my TB, I only owe 8400 it would have took me a lot longer to pay off a ZR2 and with the economy like it is I was to scared to chance it,, I’m glad I got the 430# torque, my zero to 60 was in the low 7s with 391#s torque it’s now in 6s
I havw a 2023 Colorado trail boss that is a good truck. I just wish ir had the additional electronic front locking differential. I am probably going to be trading it in in a 2024 zr2 in this harvest bronze metallic color.
Interesting you can air down and get a honk for preset tire pressure but not when you air up. My Jeep honks when it gets aired up. Are you sure it dosnt honk airing up?
There’s no reason to have a “beep” on airing-up, because most modern inflators today can be pre-set to a selected PSI. As such, your point wasn’t thought-out. My portable Milwaukee unit is set to 33psi - how would you otherwise be airing-up beyond a gas station with gauge, personal unit, etc.? Riddle me that Chief … please enlighten us.

Huge improvement over the previous gen. American 🇺🇸 brands need to takeover the mid-size segment like they’ve done in the full-size space. The latest Tacoma looks so horrid; it’s within reach, but some are stuck in the old outdated quality gap narrative. Toyota literally just recalled hundreds of thousands of Tundras yet again.
Where did you see the tundra recall? I can’t wait to buy the 4rh gen tacoma! Tacoma is the best selling midsize and there’s a reason for that! I’ve had two, much nicer in my opinion.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed no, I have not. I only have a 22 Colorado LT with a V6 that was 30k. It's a fleet vehicle. And then my personal truck, a 2018 F150 XLT with a V8 that was 48K. That's all I have to compare to.

You do not have to go into the menus to control the lights. That is what the icon on top left of the screen is for, and it's always there.
