Read on for some tips and estimate on travel to Cappadocia…
1. Cappadocia is a region and not city or town.
2. Main town is Goreme where all the tourist attractions are so find your hotel in this town
3. Cappadocia is served by 2 airports : Nevsehir and Kayseri airports. Kayseri is further away from Goreme but frequency is more and cost is much less compared to Nevsehir airport.
4. Balloon ride cost is between 100 to 300 Euro. Don’t book in advance online. Better to buy once you reach Cappadocia. You will get better price
5. Atv Ride Cost - About 30 Euros for 1 Atv on which 2 can ride together
6. It is better to take group tour as the individual entry tickets are very expensive.
7. Green line tour Cost - 55 Euro approx
8. Red Line Tour Cost - 50 Euro approx
9. You can hire Scooter or car and for local commute.
10. No public transport available for airport better to book in advance. About 10 Euro/pax one way to most towns.
