I have found some hilarious players in rank 2.0. Once found a Maverick Emerald player in Villa that never used his gadget a single time, always played alone and told us he could not trust us because he didn´t understand what we were doing... We were doing a standard master take for Aviator/Games. 😂
Yea but it does mean that those players have played enough to get that far we are in a world of competitive game and most players on most games can be competitive and super good in most games nowadays its mostly about team energy and team players I mean yea you can carry or get carried still but it becomes very hard against a team with a good flow even if they are all solo or 5 stacked. Maybe this is just a different view of it idk i like all the tips here tho was a great video also just have fun that's a big way to improve rank I feel like the moment you stop stressing and sweating and getting upset at it you'll just start going up higher yk have a chill mentality and dont give up a game is always winnable even at a 0-3
@GolemOfMagic Ranked 2.0 turns proper skill based rating into more of a playtime thing. There are hilariously bad players I've seen running a champion charm being in a gold game.
My 1# tip for any rank is: skylights. Any map with rapellable skylights even coppers think to themselves "that's so stupid why would anyone go skylight?" Vs silvers, plats, and even diamonds ill just rappel down lobby skylight on bank or main skylight on emerald plains. Depending on the skylight you might wanna cover ur sound first but trust me this strat is so stupid it works way too often. As a wise man once said "if it's smart, someone's already thought of it. But if its stupid, no one's gonna be thinking about it."
istg im actually high gold/low plat but it takes a ridiculously long time to get out of bronze because every teammate i get just doesnt communicate at all and constantly chokes rounds

My biggest tips as a 1.6 champ: Plug your controller into your console. Get rid of your turtle beach headset. Go into each round with a plan. Stop playing warden and mozzie. Instead of mozzie play Valkyrie and instead of warden play solis or pulse. (Obviously warden is amazing if they are bringing ying) Never play rook Never die without using your utility. If you died with 3 flash bangs left you failed. Pick secondary gadgets with a purpose. If you are bringing breach charges you should try to play vertical or else you are wasting your secondary utility.

I kinda crouch when I shoot , I’m in low ranks so most the time those people are aiming crotch level, so when I die it’s mostly when I crouch and get headshotted.

For diamond I also recommend adding phantom pressure onto site. For example, by opening the windows in lounge in kafe or by opening the CCTV window in club house. I also recommend roaming off site/contesting areas with teammates who are in fights similar to the azami clip on lair

Clip your games. See what you are missing. Is it quick peeks, is it movement, aim, what? Watch some high rank players and see how they play. Then try to practice it in training mode or in game
none of these apply if u are solo q btw (coming from a solo q player w 2 plat accts 1.5+KD) and most times idk why, i go against champs and diamonds even when im in copper even tho im only peak plat 5 of both my accounts
Just expect the jump outs no? After you play a while you get used go all the spawnpeeks and runouts. You can wait a bit in spawn and hold for 30 seconds and then get close to map
I soloQ through the ranks up to plat 3. It is terrible. Rank 2.0 is a dumpster fire. You basically gamble your chances of getting decent teammates who know how to use the mic. I was getting plats while being in mid silver. Now, when I’m plat, I’m getting high emeralds/ mid diamonds, while my teammates are discovering the benefits of reinforcements…you just have to rely on yourself, learn from your mistakes, play good soloQ operators and pray for decent teammates, cause when you get to plat, you will (probably) be carrying your silver/gold teammates.
There is only one problem, the rank system doesn't work and with ranked 2.0, ranks don't mean anything anymore.
