    Here I'll show you everything you need to know to start airbrushing, how to put everything together, what paints to choose, how to use acrylic craft paints, how to clean an airbrush, etc...
    In general, before this airbrush set, I only worked with professional airguns and compressors when designing wood and veneer furniture. Often, customers wanted a specific color and I looked for varnishes and stains to reproduce the same shade...
    Therefore, for me, this set looks like the tools I had to use, only in a reduced form))) As well as all my models...

    Thank for the Video. A tip, never pull the needle out backwards, you then take paint with you that remains in the gun and has to be removed at great expense.

      I have already realized that when I unscrew everything, I can pull the needle out through the front part! It is even safer to take it out or insert it so as not to bend it!

    Coming from the scale model world, I have numerous airbrushes, including this one, and the HP-CS is pretty much the gold-standard workhorse of airbrushes. Like most tools, you get what you pay for.... I've had mine well over 20 years, sprayed a LOT of paint, and I've never had to replace a single part. Luckily I have a large shop compressor out in the garage, so I just ran an air line into the basement so I don't have to listen to a little compressor buzzing.
    Small note on safety... while acrylic paint is water-based and not toxic, at minimum, a basic respirator should still be worn to avoid inhaling atomized paint. If you get into anything outside of acrylics, like enamels, the fumes are a very different story.

      Thank you! This is a very useful tip about the respirator!

    Love my airbrush but still learning how to use it. Dry tip and paint blobs on the tip are my biggest problem.

      Tip drying is a fairly common problem, and be reduced by using a product called "Flow Improver" from Vallejo. Not only is it a paint thinner, but it also has an acrylic retarder in it to extend the drying time of paint. While it doesn't eliminate the issue, it definitely helps.

    Very cool and thank you! Just an aside, was it intentional that your example painting kind of resembles the Saudi Arabian flag? Just a silly note, haha!

    is spray painting used as much for wooden models as plastic?

    • @OlhaBatchvarov
      @OlhaBatchvarov  Před 7 měsíci +1

      There is very little painting in wooden modeling. Basically, this is painting the bottom before the appearance of copper plates, wales in black color and the base color for painting the friezes...
