They say that no man (or woman) is an island and we thrive when we have harmonious relationships, but often it is our relationships with other human beings that bring us the most stress and anxiety. This applies to all our relationships and not just the romantic ones. It could be with our colleagues, our parents, our children and our community.
Rajesh Ramani is an internationally sought-after mentor, teacher and founder of Mindfulness and Beyond and will be joining us for our Wellbeing At Home online event to help us understand the dynamics of our relationships and how our past can determine repetitive emotions and behaviour that could sabotage our relationships and to be aware of our own triggers. We will discuss what tools we can implement to achieve thriving relationships, and how vulnerability opens the door to creating positive outcomes and narratives with the people we connect with in our daily lives.
If your relationships trigger you or are a daily cause of anxiety come along to this event to learn how you can build harmonious relationships that also give you a sense of empowerment.
As a reminder why relationships are important, see below:
Emotional support: Relationships provide emotional support and help us feel connected to others. Having close relationships can improve our overall well-being and happiness.
Social connections: Relationships help us form social connections, which are important for our mental health and can help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Personal growth: Relationships can help us learn more about ourselves and grow as individuals. They can provide opportunities for feedback, self-reflection, and personal development.
Collaboration and teamwork: Relationships are essential for collaboration and teamwork. Whether in personal or professional settings, having strong relationships can help us work effectively with others towards common goals.
Fulfilment: Relationships can provide a sense of purpose and fulfilment. They allow us to share experiences, create memories, and build a sense of community.
