    I have this fan and bought from Costco. I do like it. It’s very powerful and even better on booster mode. However, you cannot adjust the height of the pole. Like seriously? Why didn’t Shark make it where the pole can be extended? I had to put this on a chair because the pole is so short. Other competitors allow you to adjust the height of the pole.

    • @stevens9996
      @stevens9996 Před 3 měsíci +1

      Only got it today so have yet to use it, but agree 100% on the height. It's too low, and for this price it should be adjustable. You shouldn't need to find something to place it on.

    Hmm....saw this in White on Costco website for $160 and came looking for reviews. However, instead of the spray mist attachment, it comes with a car charger and storage cover. After seeing this version, I would rather the mist. It can be purchased separately for $25 (plus tax and shipping, im sure). Bringing it to a little under $200. I need to see more reviews about the output to determine.

    • @veganconservative1109
      @veganconservative1109 Před 5 měsíci

      Might be a regional thing, but in Phoenix, AZ it is $149 at Costco. The white fits our decor better.

    • @TheHailstorm77
      @TheHailstorm77 Před 3 měsíci

      Damn $160? My area Costco sells for $150 and it is the white and grey version. The mist is a nice feature but not ideal to hook up to a water hose. Can you imagine what your water bill would be if you keep having this continuous mist? Would be nice if you can put the cable to a large bucket of water.

    $200 is a lot for just one fan. I would buy a Ryobi portable fan and a good indoor fan. The Shark fan means you can only use it one place at a time, so sorry if you are still at home, no fan for you.

  • @artrandy
    @artrandy Před 4 měsíci +3

    Its a 'good' review, because he's explained why I don't need this at the price. Not being able to plug in the table stop version is pointless and self defeating, because the fan itself could have a power socket. If you still needed it to run on batteries, then it might be handy for some, but who wants to ration its use? Personally, If I go out for a picnic, I don't feel the need to take a fan with me, if its too hot out, then I stay inside away from the sun. The remote doesn't interest me either, its just added complications. Give me 3 speeds, an oscillating button and on and off on the fan, that's all I need. Yeah, just like a much cheaper, everyday fan. I don't Nor need to fiddle with controls every 5 minutes, Im no longer 12. And having water sprayed indiscriminately around the room is something I'd like to avoid.
    Now, if they could develop technology which meant that a fan this size could actually lower the temperature of the room, without hoses out the window, it would be a breakthrough, but until that time arrives, these fans are simply sold to people interested in gadgets for the sake of it. Now YT will inundate me with ads for these, after I've realized I don't want it. Thanks......

      It does run plugged in on tabletop, he didn't mention that, plugs in between the tripod legs, also 5he 2ater spray feature is only for outside .But my problem is, I have to switch the actual fan on first before the remote works. Then next day you have to do it again.
