I have been needing new podcasts, and I’m so happy I started listening to this. You guys are so funny together.
The fact that Sas recognizes & verbalizes he thinks he has a drinking problem & is trying to change that is a big deal! But Francis always trying to get Sas to drink isn’t cool
You ever think maybe Sas is completely over exaggerating like he does with everything else?

Agree but sas isn’t an alcoholic. He’s not quitting bc he had a drinking problem. I’m in recovery myself and yes if it was like someone like me yes it’s fucked. But someone who’s just like I’m gonna quit just because I don’t see it as a big issue
I mean he smoked weed last week. It’s not like he’s got a problem. He’s choosing not to. Alcoholic addicts can’t take it or leave it so I don’t see this as at all the same as ruining someone’s sobriety

Doesn’t matter he has a mental dependency and that still fucks with quality of life. he’s bettering his life. You don’t need to be physically addicted having withdrawals to have a mental dependency which does effect quality of life. Relying on alcohol or other substances is still an addiction.

You can be an alcoholic who’s a binge drinker, alcoholic doesn’t always mean 24/7 use. mental dependency is still addiction he’s said before he needed alcohol to do stand up and couldn’t turn drinks down. He’s said before he would be drinking up to 20 beers in a night at the comedy club sometimes. It’s still alcoholism in the DSM-5 I’m not disagreeing with you I’m saying the original guy is wrong
