GOds yes, this!!!! I tend to focus on mouth as well. I get sensory overload really easily and have SO much trouble making out words by listening when I hit overload. I tend to lip read. It's NOT fun being accused of flirting when I'm just literally trying to 'hear' what they're saying!🤦

I dont endorse the men, the kinks nothing. i feel like she needs to put a disclaimer of sorts? but her books faithless and forgiveness are actually amazing - again not endorsing the men. they're just guilty pleasures- or heck, not even guilty pleasures just enjoying them for a timepass in general.

this sort of mindless slop only exists to make profit, so the writing doesn't aim to challenge social norms, rather it reinforces them - men are always older, financially and socially superior, sexually experienced and possessive. these books have a broad target audience so following culture norms is a way to avoid displeasing them, as they are read as a form of mindless entertainment anyways.
