Madness were definitely a skin band, especially in the very early days - doing tv shows like razzmatazz was all part of commercial success, it had nothing to do with their roots of music or who they appealed too! They did shows like Top Of The Pops regularly too, and you could hardly say the audiences there were Skinheads either!!
