Bought one of these 3 days ago. My first bait caster, only birds nested 3 times before I got it dialed in and got it down. Fished every bit of 8+ hours for 3 days straight and caught a handful of decent trout. 30lb braid with a 2ft 8lb mono leader with a spoon. Definitely one of my favorite setups for under $100

Tip trick for you, you can’t fake skill with fishing

I know man but it is way harder to cast with 7ft 6 heavy with one hand

@@Catchtembass that’s isn’t a 7ft rod and check out my shorts if you need casting tips 👍🏼. And adjust your tension so when the hook hits the water at your feet the spool stops moving. Then practice with the brake slowly losing tension until you can cast far and accurately. If you follow that tip you shouldn’t have any problems casting
